By getting Premium. It extends the PM box ENORMOUSLY. I forget to what level, but I think it's about 2000...

You can also save them into a document and then delete them. I think its .txt, .css, and .xml.

Yep, you can download your messages in various formats via the links in the bottom right hand of the Inbox page.
