PM error

I read somewhere in "the" GT4 thread that someone else got his database error. Do you know what's up? Just too much server load, probably. I'm surprised GTP is up at all. Your server might experience a china syndrome.

My last count is 281 users viewing the GT4 forum. GTP should be able to handle that, there's been way more users viewing a forum at one time before this...

It doesn't always matter about quantity, think of all the refreshings and all the very fast activity of all those 281 users? I mean I saw this thing at only 2 pages "the proud to own gt4 thread" and 2 hours later it's on what? page 40? It depends on your setting but that's a huge increase. Think of the overload.

Yeah but I've been at this site for years now, under various usernames, and it's been quite busy before and the site's always been able to handle it.

Yes, I disabled that feature. It was simply using too many resources.
