PM "Reply to all" Button

When you get a PM that has 20 different recipients, if you click reply, you only reply to the original sender.

It's a pain to reply to 20 different people by copy/pasting. I want to be even more lazy and push a button to reply to everyone at once.
 
I firmly stand behind this proposal with the utmost firmness.

I will only use this because, err when I sent a multiple pm the next day I had 10 unread pms and it made me feel important.

Anyway, on a more serious note, I'm indifferent to the idea. I rarely get into mass PM convos, if ever, but I can see where it could be useful.
 
Yes. I think this would be a great idea.

Think how many people could be discussing Keef.
 
All the more reason for people to get premium... 1500 PMs allowed! That's how larger corporations make people pay premium, they crap out the non-premium services.

But in all honesty, a Reply to All button would be a really great addition, not just for spamming more people, but especially for all those OLR and Photomode competitions.
 
This is a good idea and I support its proposed implementation. With the current system not only do you have to copy and paste the names from the replied-to PM, but you also have to go through and replace the commas with semicolons. It'd be so much easier to make fun of ultrabeat and laugh at Race Idiot's stupid mass-PMs with John's new idea.
 
Yes, this really should be a default feature of the vBulletin software, and I agree it would be very useful. It has now been implemented - just look at the end of the "Recipients:" list and click "Reply to All". Let me know if you run into any problems.
 
I'm just a popular guy, and everyone knows I'm a virgin on this forum and they all think it's funny. If there was anyone who didn't know, they do now.

And some way to tranfer Premium, so he can send it my way as soon as he gets it.

This sucks though, we have a new feature, and I really want to use it, but I don't have anything to say, nor do I have enough people to say it to. I talk to Keef and Kennythebomb most of the time, and that's all.

EDIT: So I need something for my depression too. Keef, lets join the strike with the tens of thousands other people who are unactive on GTP. Everyone else seems to think they left just because.
 
Actually my pm box just reached its maximum because of these retards, so now I'll give neg rep to John for this stupid idea and I hope Brett comes out with more cool gifs.

EDIT: Looks like more spam was the reason Jordan got rid of it, but I didn't see him say that directly in this thread. Plus, some people posted that the thing was confusing to use, and it was for a bit until one realized they had to click "Reply to All" at the top, instead of "Reply" at the bottom.

Maybe we could try it again? Just last month or something I was irked because I didn't have it. I was feeling crappy from loosing my car and wanted mass support and encouragement.
 
Private. I sent my message to the people I knew would either say "aww" or congratulate me on my new sexual preferences when I lost my car.
 
I don't know if it's just me or not, but i thought reply to all has been on here for like... forever.

EDIT: Maybe i'm thinking of multiple sending. I haven't used PM's much.
 
Unfortunately, the forum software plugin that enabled this feature had unknown bugs that was preventing some people from reading their private messages. The cost of such a bug far outweighs the benefit, so I had to disable it.

Do you know if the plugin that enables 'reply to all' has been debugged yet or is there another plugin that would work ok? It'd be good for this to be reinstated if possible
 
No, I've not kept track of the plugin's development and don't have any plans to re-install it. This may be in the next iteration of the forum software, though.
