Well, every so often, after acting like a human being, and not a droid on this forum, i recieve these warning PMs. And some of them, include 'points'. What do these points mean?

I have deleted the PMs, so it's not as if i can read them over agin, to try and understand them.

I disagree with the OP's statement , and reading his subsequent posts I would speculate that he doesn't like not getting his own way & decides wholeheartedly to disagree vehemently with everyone elses opinions on said matter .

I think the Mods have been very patient in re-emphasing the conditions of the mandatory AUP conditions which we all , yes even the Mods , have to abide by.

An important life lesson to learn here is everybody makes mistakes , just be man enough to admit them when you make them . And in doing so , accept your punishment , learn from it & move on .

I'm sure the Mods have better things to do than reiterate terms & conditions .

👍

How dare you!🤬 Mock me like that! However, let's see if you get given an 'infraction', i think not. You have that holiday, and use the time to buck up your attitude.:irked:

Yeah you're right, I don't know what came over me there. Something in my head was telling me to say what I was thinking. But thankfully you have broken that spell Famine, and I can get back to doing what i agreed to do...

Must-do-what-Famine-says.

Seriously though, I didn't realise how bad it was on this Forum, until you started complaining about the case of my letter 'I's.

Oh, boo-hoo, 'he said his 'I's wrong.

The very violent process of self-destruction, I see...
The more you wrestle with authority, the less you achieve!
Stop arguing with Famine, because it doesn't seem to be helping your situation any by doing so:dunce:

The staff has no problem whatsoever with mistakes. If I made less than 5 spelling/grammar mistakes yesterday I'd be amazed. We understand that English isn't everyone's first language. What we look at is effort and trends. If you don't put forth the effort to make your posts fall in line with the AUP you agreed to, sooner or later you can expect a PM from the staff.

I agree with both posts.

Good point . 👍

Are people really that lazy or unmotivated to agree to rules they said they would agree to and make a scene when they are told that they should follow the rules they have agreed to follow in the first place? This is supposed to be a civilized place so if you really don't want to follow the rules you won't be here for long, as the BUL pretty much gives away.

I think we should just end this thread here and now.
What have we learned today?

1) If you make a minor spelling error you get an infraction
2) Jokes are strictly for the 'Jokes' thread, otherwise you're posts are mysteriously vaporised.
3) Telling someone they don't come from the country they are from is strictly ALLOWED and you will not be penalised for doing so.

Which just goes to show you - if you don't want to learn anything, you won't learn anything.

None of which are true. If you've learned them you're either acting on wrong information or deliberately ignoring things to make some kind of skewed point. If you've learned something that is wrong, you have learned nothing - and if you've done it deliberately, you're doing it because you don't want to learn anything.

Which one, of the things I have mentioned, are untrue? Please, do tell.

False.

False, this isn't fact it's just you whinging/sarcasm.

Still sour? You said to me in a PM that you did use google translator for those Italian posts...

False.

WTF?!?!?! When did i ever say anything like that?

Can the mods retrieve deleted messages? If so they should be able to recover it.

If i said anything like that; which I HIGHLY doubt i did, it would just be me being sarcastic. Alas, I didn't, so stop trying to cause trouble.

All the PMs i've sent you:

1) You are a joke! I post one rubbish translation of English, and that means im a joke?

Lets leave it there.

2) I will try to speak scottish, as not break forum rules.

3) Who says im not Italian? I only had 'Scotland' displayed because that's where i was at the time.

Fine del

There you are, i have nothing to hide.

EDIT: Also, how would you feel if i told YOU, you were a German fanboy, who used Google Translator to post in German?

He's Belgian. Also, no-one should be posting anything not in English. It's rule 1 of the AUP you didn't read.

I'm not disputing that fact, I just decided to post in Italian a couple of times, not done it since I realised it was confusing almost everybody (and it was against the rules). :D

What i'm getting at, is he seems set on proving that i'm not Italian, and it's really ticking me off.:indiff:

I just joined GTP. Yay!

This thread was on the top of the list, so I looked at it.

I can't believe I read all 3 pages!!! I want the last 5 minutes of my life back! ROFL

Mazerati you remind me of the guy who set fire to his minecraft house.

Just a suggestion- in the time its taken to do all this you could have finished your other post? Worth thinking about.

Ok. I'm off to find some decent posts.

Why?

3) Who says im not Italian? I only had 'Scotland' displayed because that's where I was at the time.

It's also where you still are and have always been while posting here. You've also always posted in British units (£ particularly), British idiom (describing your 04 Fiesta, going to college) and about British places (Glasgow, Lanark, Motherwell and Carnwath). If your Italian language posts were straight from Google Translate too, it's not hard to see how members draw this conclusion.

Ultimately I refer you back to "Why?". It's as big a problem as you let it be.

I just joined GTP. Yay!

Welcome. And advice.

As you can see here it's best not to quibble over little things because it may draw Famine's attention and not many folks will come up trumps if it goes that way.
