Police Training in GTsport

GTsport is not only used as recreation but a lot of people use game to improve their skills:
Reaction-time, concentration-time but the Britsh Police used it for training their drivingskills as is shown in this video:

While I do think there is some merit to this development, there would have been a way to make it even more credible by adding a control group, i.e. one that drives a lap first, does something completely unrelated in between, and returns to perform another lap.

It's not only about GTsports here: any decent video game played with a wheel and pedals can help one to improve skills. when and where to look, understand the load transferts, choose the right line, synchronization wheel/throttle and so on: a game can definitely help you learn the basics !
