The size of my v1.07 update was . . .

Mine was 47 Mb.
 
Maybe the difference in sizes is due to GT Academy. Or something.

Did anyone else get a 35MB patch or was I supplied with false information?

Mine was 47mb, UK. But you probably shouldn't have started a thread based on the fact that two people said they downloaded a patch that was a different size. It's hardly concrete information.

Although if it is true, my bet is that it has something to do with the leaderboards. Didn't some places have access to leaderboards from launch?

I doubt it's that, as the sizes vary in the same country and there seems to be no pattern to country's that can and can not participate.
It's a mystery to me.

I think it might be something to do with the servers for the us players as I got a 35mb update
 
I haven't downloaded it yet.

Who even cares? What's the point?
 
Should maybe ask who was a duper or bdayer and what patch you got? That could clear some put if maybe tgey start tracking, i dont know but seems that latest patch was against duping.... Could make sense?? No judgement in thus post just thaught of it.

Maybe something to do with the amount of accounts on your PS3?

I got a 47, I'm in Canada, I have 2 accounts.
 
I got the 47MB patch, and i think that i know why.

With the v1.05, i'm 100% sure that the Suzuki Cervo SR '07 wasn't in my premium dealership. Today, i was buying low power cars, trying to find the best for 300PP rooms and found it in the Suzuki dealership.

So, maybe that it's the answer to the size difference.

i already stated 47 canada but now im adding that I have 1 main two sub accounts.
 
47mb already stated, NY USA, but:
- I only have 1 account
- I've never duped
- never b-day glitched
- signed up for academy but only did one of the time trials (3rd place for a while), didn't do the rest.

It's really weird that no pattern is obvious.

I agree with this, so perhaps the question should be who did the full install and what size of download they got if they did? Otherwise it's just going to be an endless list of people telling us what size of download they got, with no answer to why there's two different ones. I did the full install and got the 47MB one.
 
47 MB I'm somewhere near Australia (not NZ)

I had 47 MB and I live in the EU.
