I would like to have the delivery truck as a driveable premium car, and the game to ask me, if I´d like deliver the car by myself, by driving a cruising lap around Nürb-Ring. If I do this without loosing the car (look at Top Gear Truck Challenge - I mean the real world TV series), you get some extra stuff. (extra paint, Engine-Overhaul, or the Stiggy´s White Suite)
PD could make so much more out of this basic stuff. So many people, so few ideas. :indiff:

The Car Delivery is what needs to be taken out. What's the problem in just winning the car and having it show up in the garage? It's a waste of time for the players.

Tickets would work the same way, just go to the parts list. You're not opening a specific car ticket, you're opening a ticket that gives you a random car. Which is somewhat different.

I agree all the way. GT4 wasn't like this. Its a waste of time for sure. Let me know what I won but automatically put it in my garage. If we don't use the screen we will never get to use the car. That is totally redundant. There is no point in us winning the car and still having to acquire it. That's like me winning a race and giving me the option to take the money now are wait. Well of coarse I will take the money so make it available now.

I wish the car was added to your garage then it brings up the car details screen.

The one with all the details, the tuning option, number selection and the ROTATING CAR MODEL.

I hate that when you win a new car, you can't even tell what it looks like.

I chose in the poll to get rid of it,it`s annoying and a waste of time. If there was a nice animation of the truck pulling up on it`s exhaust brakes behind a pit garage area and the trailer opens up and you hear your car starting up/throttle blipping then a short idle and then a scene(like in smokey and the bandit) as the car drives out of the tralier and then sit`s there idling while a few GT auto guys fuss over it with a cloth thenit fades out and goes to your garage screen. Then that would be cool and worth the time investment to watch it.

I didn't mind the whole driving-the-car-out-of-the-dark thing at first, but after a couple hundred times it really gets old. If it lasted a little longer I'd go make a sandwich or something while it's wasting time there. The car delivery system with the truck is a completely unnecessary waste that adds absolutely nothing at all (nothing positive, anyway) to my gaming experience.

Do away with both of these. The space wasted by the delivery truck could go to something a billion times more useful, like an icon for an online auction house or an actual quid-pro-quo trade system.

Some simple text messages like : "car A (color) were added to your garage" and "color B were added to your item list" would've been enough.

In all fairness most of the menus in GT5 are a joke. They are far too many steps when purchasing anything car or tuning part related. Why can't we select multiple items and confirm their purchase once.

I hate Twitter, its the modern version of muttering to yourself. Who wants to know if I've just had a biscuit or coffee, no one, the same as I don't want to know about anybody else having a biscuit or coffee.

I can't remember who reviewed gt5 (might have been ign) and said its a 10 out of 10 simulator in a 5 out of 10 game. This is about spot on, if any other racing game had a interface like this one it would have flopped big time, but because the physics and driving experience is near perfect, they have just got away with it.

Obviously only people who are so full of selfimportance they believe the whole world needs to know about every minuteae of their daily existance.👎

Keep it, but let us button out when we want.

Having morning tea by the way. Mutters to self.

I like the "car acquired" screen. What I don't like is that whole stupid thing with the car delivery area. Just give me the stupid car. Don't give me a ticket, then ask me if I'm sure I want to use it, then ask me if I'm really sure. Sheesh!

keep it.

it's always been in the GT games, and it's kind of cool how you can start up and hear the car for the first time right when you acquire it :)

obviously it wasn't designed thinking that people would buy cars in 'bulk'. personally I just wish it would take you back to the dealership/UCD/OCD screen instead of the GT Life menu after you get a car.

Keep it, but let us button out when we want.
You can press start (maybe circle) and go straight to the "Do you want to use this car?" option with the animation still going in the background.

I wouldn't complain. There is a reason why most good video games have similar menu styles (obviously they look different but function the same). It is because they work...and work well.
I wouldn't either, but there's always going to be that one person who will.
