I know nothing about them and reading is not good cause you do no get to feel them.

I don't use any.

I personally don't see the need to try any out unless they get cheap enough that they are comparable to the cheapness of a $10-$15 regular keyboard. I've been using membrane keyboards for years now and don't see the need to upgrade. I don't game often on my computer(haven't been feeling like playing some games for the past few months). The Compaq PS2 membrane keyboard that has been in use for two family computers has lasted 8 years of typing and it is still going. I just don't see the worth in the extra cost in something you can buy for quite a bit more than a regular membrane keyboard that can last just as long as the Compaq keyboard.

The cheapness of a 10$ keyboard will always reflect in how it feels.

I bought my keyboard with the intent of not needing to get a new one for many years to come. I've had it for about half a year now and it still feels like the day I got it. I'd never submit a membrane keyboard to the sort of torture I put this one through for gaming, it just wouldn't last.

I currently use blues, but don't have enough experience with others to say that it's better. I do love the general feel as apposed to a normal keyboard.

You forgot to put Clears on the list.

I use Blues normally (Filco tenkeyless) and I've had a keyboard with Blacks (Steelseries 6Gv2) that I didn't care as much for. Also have an ergonomic keyboard with Browns in it. Out of those, I just find the clear and crisp feel of the Blues better than other switch types. Browns are just a bit too soft in their tactile point and I don't care at all for linear switch types.

Nick09, I know many people that have switched to mechanical switches that do not game. They simply feel better to type on for extended periods and just have a much more consistent feel to them.

Their are also Alps key switches and buckle spring switches.

Their are also Cherry MX Greens.

Alps and Buckle Springs are not part of the MX family, and I mentioned Greens.

There are also the old "space invader" switches some Tandy's used (iirc) and Topre switches as well. Then the Cherry MY series. And no doubt others I've not looked up.
