I can´t stop reading people complaining and saying: "Waiting for shift 2" only because tey cant cheat, some events are too dificult...
Obbiously this poll hasn´t value as the spoiled kids are going to vote.
If you want to complain, go away, people here are Gran Turismo fans...

Now you can crucify me

Note: i forgot the poll :)

Qft...reminds me that I need to buy beer Saturday as I can't on Sunday here in Atlanta.

Lol you dont know the number of times I wanted to post something like that. But then again I'm not here to make war but to talk about GT in a constructive way. Surely this forum seems to be PD debug forum lol. I'm pretty sad the way it's going actually.

I can not believe that a community such us GTPlanet agree with duping/glitching/cheating. I care, because i want to play the game the right way and I spend time for something who other cheat...

I forgot to mention the most unbearable of all: whiney self-righteous spoilt kids

This is a pretty interesting topic considering I'm just 13. I'm amazed at the difference between me and the usual 13 year old who has a copy of GT5.

👍 This forum is going down... :indiff:

This is directed to those not real gt funs that can not go away if the dont lie the game. Not only for being kids... but usually they are...

Funny thing it is not kids, it is 30 something, self-righteous entitled adults that are doing most of the complaining. From things being too hard to being too easy and everything in between. 👎

The mainstream video games of today are all so polished, that when a big game that is flawed comes around it immediately causes some heavy crying. This is because the "spoiled kids" aren't used to mediocre.

I don't play GT5 a lot anymore, but it has more to do with the fact that I'm almost finished with it and there just aren't enough (interesting) tracks in this game to cover its potential lifespan. Not with the flaws and the long list of things I had done differently.

Let's hope they make a track-pack. If its good I'd be ready to pay for it.

The thing I dont understand is why mod arent making a thread with all rants, suggestions etc.. and kill all the other thread. Honestly it brings nothing to the community and I just dont get it.

I think the major issue with the game tho is not that it's not good, it's that it's not as good as most people were expecting it to be. Since the game as been developped for so long time, everyone was thinking it was going to be there masterpiece the way they saw it in there head. The problem is it wont be and never will be.

I was a lot on FM3 forum too when the game went out and the same kind of thread were flooding, I want the game more like that, more like this, with more of this, less of this, I want it easier, I want it harder etc... but it stopped after a while, because people realized the game was not so bad. But here it never stop, every update brings his clan of haters or lovers and 100 thread about it which most people dont care about.

And I too was not really happy with the game but hey I'm always disapointed with game I'm expecting a lot from, but now I've found my pace and I'm driving 3-4 hours each days. Mostly online and guess what it's a blast.

I´m afraid PD listen them and ruin GT... :nervous:

You'd think the inability to have people duplicate and send $1m+ credit cars suddenly rendered the entire Gran Turismo series obsolete. If only there was another point to this game besides collecting every expensive car as quickly as possible so you could stop playing...

From past experiences, it seems at least 70% of them are in fact kids, unfortunately.

You are definitely the exception to the rule then! :sly:

I find the whole thing stupid. The people who are out there racing for real, earning their cars are satisfied. Those who want to dupe are satisfied. Why change anything? I think they should black mark a dupers file, and show a red letter A on the online profile, kinda like the * next to Barry Bonds.

It's like Steroid use in sports. Everyone wants to see the game progress, but no one is going to stop watching until the drugs go away...

I used Duping to save money. I do not grind races. I am a level 30 right now. I have 5 Endurance races, the Formula Gran Turismo and some special events and licenses to complete. I have a few race cars, and a few rare cars that I share with my brother (who is right about where I am. We would race each other all the time with these cars. It was fun to dupe them because we have a different driving style, and will change the tune all the time. Now, we can't.

I totally lost all motivation to play this game, knowing that the 7mil I have is all I have. I have to save to the max cap, just to buy a car that is really a cheat in it of itself, just to start over. It is dumb.

For the record, I do not consider duping cheating. It took some skill, and a lot of time to get a car, gift it, reload the profile, go to the second profile, accept it, and then gift it again, just to save 4mil... It was fun to play with all the old race cars... Now I just want the races beat, so I never have to look at them again.

What annoys me are people who think that they can play the game their way just because they bought it. Offline, sure it's fine since it only affects yourself, but with an online component things need to be kept fair.

First off, they didn't buy the game, they bought a copy of it. Which also means that they can't change the rules as they wish, they're still subject to the creator's rules. This is the same for all products. It's probably - and should be - stated in the game's EULA or ToS what the user can and can't do, what they're subjected to, and what the creator can do.

Sorry but yes I do have a right to play this game online anyway I feel as long as I am not hacking the game or doing something not available to everyone, glitch or exploit. Your way may not be my way. You may want fun, clean racing, I may want smash up, crash worthy racing. Like you I like clean, fun racing but that doesn't give me the right to impose my play style on others.

Have you not heard of the Track Creator? Now that you can race custom tracks online there can be as many tracks as you want as long as you're willing to put a bit of effort into it. I find that creating an awesome track which produces fun racing is one of the most satisfying parts of the game now! And I almost have as much fun building the tracks as I do racing them.

With new seasonal aspec events every week and the ability to create as many tracks as you want, it puzzles me how people say there isn't enough to do in this game. You're only limited by your imagination.

In answer to the poll, it has been for a while. :) Hopefully this update will act as a bit of an old man yelling "get off my lawn" and waving a sword cane around.

Please, please, please go play ultimate shopping cart simulator 2, it will make this game a happier place.

Highlighted the section where your argument is flawed. We don't have to align with your belief-system in order to enjoy the game. You have no authority over what others do unless you create your own driving game and set your rules in it.

Glitching, hacking, and exploiting flaws is what I was specifically talking about.

Your way may not be my way. You may want fun, clean racing, I may want smash up, crash worthy racing. Like you I like clean, fun racing but that doesn't give me the right to impose my play style on others.
Driving style wasn't, though.

According to my friend, the agreement states that they can change, add, or remove features from the game without warning.

I'm sure PD doesn't care how you drive, otherwise they would've removed the "No Penalty" option in races by now. Crashing into people isn't really a violation of any agreement, since there are rooms where there are no penalties.

They don't seem to agree with the duping exploit many people have been doing, if the new restriction means anything other than promoting the use of the sharing feature.

Since I barely touch GT5 anymore GT Planet threads have provided more entertainment than GT5 the past few weeks. I love this forum and its fans.
