I'm sure anyone who uses the practice mode will greatly appreciate a link.
And since it looks like PD actually reads this forum, they might actually listen.

Also I'd really like an option to be able to have "online" driving physics in offline mode.
That would be awesome aswell. Will start up another poll for it.

That´s a good one, mate. I'd love to have one, too. Since when I'm having connection issues, I'm using practice offline for testing and always running back to the garage is not so nice. Good idea 👍

How about a Garage in Practice.. Also the abillity to add upgrade-ITEMS while on the track. Also to be able to do oil change from the track in your garage

''Also I'd really like an option to be able to have "online" driving physics in offline mode'' - sorry for being a bit slow, what do you mean? online driving physics in offline mode?

Since they´re not the same. Offline is faster. Edit: stormbringer has a poll on this, too 👍

I have to say, one of my big complaints about the game is the amount of menus we need to go back and forth through to set up our cars for races. Not being able to change your car once a track is loaded is annoying, same as not being able to buy parts for your car that IS loaded. At least we can tune the car once we're in a track. But especially in online racing, joining a room and then finding out the regulations make your cars uncompetitive is a big bummer, when to tune a car to be competitive you have to leave the lobby, the online mode, go to the tuning garage, buy your parts, go back to online mode, find the lobby again and then rejoin the game...it's a lot of menu dancing, and I'd rather be driving.

Well I have a great alternative that does all of these things as long as you dont mind being online.

Go to your lobby and Practice from there, you can change tracks and cars on the spot, you get the online physics, and you can even generate custom tracks (but you dont get a chance to save them).

But I voted yes, as that simple link would be quite nice.

that is a solution somewhat. problem is you dont have your complete garage there to use. Have to keep revising your faves.

Wow you haven't been online in a while, In the last patch the gave us the ability to use our complete garages online.

The only time you need to worry about your favorites list now is when you're test driving custom tracks.

It took me a while to figure this out, but now I'd never use practice again!

Just use your private Lounge in the Community! You can change tracks (even time by hour and weather on some) and have your garage there. Changing cars takes seconds. It's like practice just better, and your buddys can join in anytime. PLUS you have the online physics, if they even exist.

I doubt that they'll fix it...its been five iterations but they couldn't still do it....I really hate going to all screens just to change car in practice mode...

PD you guys listening?

PD only listens to Kaz....they think he is the god of racing simulators....adding Grand Theft Auto 5 in the game, remote racing but you can't do it in endurance races, adding endurance race saving in post release of the game, and so on...

Absolutely! I was playing around in practice mode the other night and left in frustration after using 3 different cars, just can't take the load times...:grumpy:

They have something a little mire important happening at the moment... But I do agree, it would be a great feature

The lack of this functionality is to me the most annoying thing about GT5 at the moment. I spend most of my time in practice mode. I enjoy going to the track and trying different cars for the sake of seeing the pros and cons of each one. Having to plow through a million button clicks and waste at least 2-3 minutes in loading times just to change a car and go back to the track is simply disgusting!!!

I would imagine that a lot of people would be in this situation. Once you've done A-Spec and when on-line sucks oh so much (for some people at least) there's nothing else but practice!!!

Appreciating the situation in Japan, but when things do get back on track over there I am +1,000,000 for this idea!!! Bring it on!

Wasn't this available in GT3 or GT4? I am almost sure this used to exist! :ill:

i voted yes 100 times over. the game menus suck and i mean they absolutely suck big. this game takes to much time to navigate through the menus, much too too slow.

Yes definitely! But also you should have links to everything you need everywhere. i.e. if I go to A-spec and select a car I should be able to give it an oil change and wash without having to back out!

Another thing: In my garage I should be able to select 10 cars and select oil change for all! It should give me a "spreadsheet" view with check-boxes and a list of all things I can do to a car above. To the far right it should give me a total amount for work I want done on each car. Finally at the bottom right it should give me a grand total for all the I want done. Shouldn't have to do it one car at a time.

v1.10 makes the tuning shop redundant, with porta-GT auto they can get rid af the gt auto too. except for the wings and paint of course
