I prefer driving in cockpit view for the realism so I like the much higher detail in the premiums. I agree however, that there are some very fine cars to drive that are standard. If the choice was to keep tham as standard or drop them I prefer that they remain.

I don't have a favorite, they're both good choices in my opinion. One thing I do dislike is the huge quantities of one car because of something so small. Many people don't even know the difference between all the models, the skylines and s2000's and stuff just make me wanna cry. In the garage I feel like I have duplicates and it drives me crazy. Lol.
 
Not in the poll but the main reason I like the Premiums vs the standards is the fact that I can bring all the premiums to the photo travel. I can also zoom up very very close to the premiums to take pics. Also have fullly detailed interiors, not the black tape outline to represent the standard interior views. Plus up until the recent update, we could only change wheels on premiums. Also I can buy a premium car at any time. The standards are in a rotation in the used car dealership. Premiums are cars that were actually finished in time before the game was released. The other 80% of the cars were not. Standards are just imported PSP cars to help meet the "1,000 cars in GT5" quota.

Generally and largely, YES.

I have to say this all the time that people take things too literally.
