Poll: stock or upgraded?

Like the title says, do you prefer a car that handles well [for your driving style] as is from the factory, or do you like upgraded hp/ weight with tuning?

Upgrade the car, every single time. This may be just installing adjustable parts, depends on the car and the context that I'll be using it 👍

The tuning in GT5 simply doesnt work, its not so much adding parts its the setup part that is miles out, apply real world knowledge of how to set a car up and you will not have the best GT5 setup.

You have to learn how to tune GT5, knowing how to tune an actual car doesnt help.

As one of my friends always says "Less tuning, more Hooning"

Stock for me. I like driving a car the way it originally was meant to be handled. Same goes to horsepower, etc.

Both, depends on the car. Usually, I have 1 stock, 1 lighly tuned,, and 1 heavier tuned. My cars are mostly pp tuned, i.e., 400pp,450pp,500pp,525,550 and so on.

I like to keep a stock car so you can feel its partiular quirks. With the really bad ones (Yellowbird, Stratos, etc.), it's then nice to get another one & tune it so it behaves.

I tune my cars but I keep the stock exhaust if it has it availible. I'm not that serious about the power.

Stock all the way. I may do some minor tuning upgrades, but only mods that can be removed to make the car stock again. I won't perform massive engine upgrades or body modifications that aren't reversible unless I have multiple copies of the car. Even so, I don't really have the desire or interest to do it anyway.

However, for me if I really enjoy how a car handles stock I won't tune it, even if it means losing several seconds per lap.

I prefer to tune into specific 25-PP brackets. 400, 425, 450, etc.
I color code my cars according to these, too, so I don't have to even look at the PP number. I'll just know by the color what PP it is.

I prefer tuning/upgrading because I can give the car the behavior I want, because most don't suit my driving style.

A perfect example is the Lambo Countach anniversary edition. I got one from a ticket the other day (I'm slowly but surely emptying my truck... ) & all I did was put softer sports rubber on. It kept its original handling traits but lost its nasty habits. Gorgeous! 👍

That car handles beautifully. I drove it in a shuffle race and fell in love with it.
The SL55 AMG is also great.

I picked the secret option both.

For me, it really depends on the car. Some cars, like the above mentioned Countach, I only would put tires on (some not even that).
