Neon Tokyo

Last winner @Moglet set this theme, here are the details :

« Neon. Rain. Steam. Skyscrapers. Narrow city streets. Cars from the 80s/90s. Think Cyberpunk, Bladerunner, Akira etc. and come up with your best interpretation of the “Neo Tokyo” aesthetic.

You don’t have to use Tokyo as a location providing it fits the theme and I want to keep the rules as open as possible to allow for creative interpretations that I might not have considered. If you need inspiration stick some Vaporwave on your playlist and look up the work of Liam Wong! »


CARS :
- Any (or none).

LIVERIES :
- No restrictions.

LOCATIONS:
- No restrictions (you don't have to use Tokyo).

SCAPES:
- Allowed.

UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS :
- Keep the mood of the theme.

@LEGODUDE2017 you used the good method, but I don't know why, your image showed very little, so I've hosted it and linked to your gallery.

@highway_starr you too used the right method, but your image wasn't loadable anymore. Fortunately I could find your GTS profile and take it from there.

My votes:

#1 for the mood and the colors.
#4 the blur, the car, the speed effect and the background is perfect with the theme
#22 I'm really impressed by the blur and the mood. The light really hides what is happening and I like it.

#17, man, I has had to exclude you from my votes, but not from my like. This is very cool shot, like very 80'sh and very Japanese. Great job, worth to mention!

I choose 3 pics max, but 5 pics have my attention, the #3, #7 and #14 remind me some of cyberpunk style (not the video game, the style), and I love it.

The #13 come from Akira/Ghost in the Shell animes, perfect.

I almost forgot about this and actually remembered it on my drive to work this morning

My votes went to 1, 3 and 14. Not only did they fit the theme but they showed some great creativity, although it was very very hard to pick this week as there were so many unique interpretations of the theme!

Congratulations @Raphaele for your back-to-back wins!

You’ve set the tone and the pace, but no one else could reach the master. My personal winner too.

I’ve also voted for @ShaolinMasta because of, hum, a Lamborghini, blurry lights and a plain ground reminded me of something (@GTRacer22 was close too )

And @max351 for the creative cyber entry.
