Polyphony digital cup help

Im trying to do the polyphoney digital cup on professional. It says I can only use "normal cars". Can anyone gimme the best "normal car" to use for this? I tried an unmodified GT-One but I guess they mean none LM cars or something. I dont know. HEEEELP.
 
On the 'Information' page for the series it will give you a list of cars that are eligible. Basically, only road cars can run in the series, with NO modifications other than tyres.

You can actually run the series in the Toyota GT-One and Nissan R390 road cars. We've recently been debating what the 'slowest' car to win the series with might be - I know a Renault Clio, on superhard racing tyres, should win the series fairly comfortable.

I ran the series in an NSX Type S Zero and won easily.
 
you cant use the GT-One, i just won it in the last series i was in and i havent even changed the oil in it and i tried to enter the race and it wouldnt let me.
 
You can use the GT-One ROAD CAR.
The Lotus Esprit GT350, TVR Speed 12, Ruf CTR, Ruf GT2, Viper, Corvette (either one) will all win EASILY with T2 tires.
If you want a challenge, it can be done with the TommyKaira ZZ-S, The Lotus Elise, I believe that the Lotus Exige(Motorsport Elise) may be eligible if you don't buy any mods for it.
The key is your pit strategy. If you can run a 8-10 lap pit schedule you will win by a good margin. Less than a full lap, but a good margin. That is until the last 5 races.
 
Guys I have my game in front of me right now and im in my unmodified GT-One and it will not let me enter. Unless my game has some wierd bug or you have a different version or something I cannot use my GT-One.
 
a corvette z06 on t2 tires will win easily. I have done this.
but the car you are trying to use is prolly the race version of the gt1... there is a road version too.

There are two versions of the GT-One - the road car and the race car. The road car is plain red, and the race car, well, looks like a race car.

The R390 is a Nissan - again, there are two versions, road and race.

You can't buy these cars, you have to win them.
 
lol im a horrible driver i cant even win the thing with a z06

anything major i missed???
u could prob go do the ss endurance and get an f1 or whatever and win the viper concept from the ... race ez win there
