I feel like such a n00b, making all of these new threads lately, I'm usually very hesitant in creating new threads, but with the excitement of GT4 being released, I can't help myself :dunce:
Anyway, what I would like to know is, will there be some sort of a photo-database for prize cars, showing all of the different colours they can come in? I know that there is a car list, and even a car database, showing you the pictures of almost every car in the game, but that still doesn't show you the different colours that are possible with prize cars, such as the Polyphony Digital Formula Gran Turismo '04 car.
So far, I have seen it in all white, white with blue trim (ala a BMW-Williams F1 car), and green trim with red barge-boards. But (and I know since GT4 hasn't been out very long, this will be difficult) but perhaps, eventually, someone can compile such a photo-database of the cars different colours?
I would, and I'm sure others would as well, like to know which colours you can get on prize cars, since some are so time-consuming to win.
Thanks GTP :)

I could probably do that...
Really? That would be very much appreciated! :) Can you view in the game all the colours of the F1 car? If not, that would be a pretty tedious task for you to keep running the F1 series, or 24 hour Nurburgring race.
I'm just curious to know which colour this car is available in, which I will hopefully win the colour I prefer after that race, otherwise I'll have to run it again in B-Spec...

So, can anyone please provide pictures of all the colour combinations of the F1 car in GT4? I know this would be a tedious task, but I am really curious to see which colours you can get...

That could take Months!

edit: WO! GTP is sssssllloooowww....took me 15 minutes to edit this message...

There will be somebody somewhere (probably here) who after owning GT4 for a long period of time, will have EVERY prize car in EVERY different colour. I suggest that Famine is a dead cert for this

I just hope that PD does the F1's the same way they did before. I.e. adding more to the US version, with special names, and historical references.

That would make it woth the extra wait for getting it.

I really hope I win the white Mobil 1 sponsored car, but I doubt I will :(

BTW, how are you supposed to win the F1 series, if you don't have a series where you can win an F1 car of your own prior to entering that series?

The Nurburgring 24hrs gives the F1 car as the prize car.
Yep, but don't you have to win the F1 series before you enter endurances? Or do you just have to reach 25% to unlock endurances?

The F1 series is in the extreme hall. To unlock the extreme hall you need to finish the beginner and professional halls.

The nurbur 24 hour race is in the endurance hall. To unlock this hall you need to finish 25% of the game.

You don't need to win the F1 series before you enter endurances.

Oh okay, thanks!
Roughly how many halls do you have to complete in order to reach 25% completion?

Hmm, i completed Beginners hall, 4 cups in proffesional hall, alot of cups in the SC Hall and some manufactor cups. It isn't much, you reach it very fast. After that the % will rise slow because you will have to face alot of looooooooooong races etc etc.

I'm gonna go against what egghead has said and say that it does take quite some time.

Doing the rallies and the mission hall will help you get there much more quickly though as most of those races are shorter.

Yellow green looks awesome. Reminds me of the yellow-green one in GT3.
Any idea how much power is these suckers?
