Poor Tigger accused of hitting

How Pathetic.

Am I the only one who thinks this kid by saying, "He hit me pretty hard" is a down right liar? That or a little wuss? Tell you something, a pretty hard hit isn't going to leave your face as ok as his was. You'd have a nice mark on it.

Seriously, if that kind of slap, is a pretty hard hit, don't punch this kid. He might be seriously injured.

What's worse is that everyone is apologizing except Tigger. What is the US coming too?

"Oh, don't tap me on the back. I'll sue you for assualt!"

There's been a fine line between an assault, and this. What gives this little punk the right to cross it?

I'd like to assault that kid and his family for getting all up in arms about this. Seriously. He just lost his balance. Watch the video again.

Oh, brother...(at TM, not the kid or Tigger).

I saw the interview with the family, I think last week? 1) His dad is a LOSER for blowing this thing out of proportion. 2) Yes, I saw his LOSER son claim on what ended up being a national TV, claim that he was hit pretty hard. That he can still feel it, during the interview.

We all saw the footage. They are lying and blowing this thing out of proportion, because they are trying to cash in on this thing. Even if they don't file a lawsuit, they are hoping to get something for free.

Tigger(the mascot guy, not the actual character) is a LOSER, son is a LOSER, dad is also a LOSER. End of story. :D
 
That kid is gonna get some reputation at school. :)

I agree with McLaren, he clearly lost his balance and the "slap" wasn't even that hard, if it was, the kid would have fell or covered his face in pain.
What a load of crap.

His dad deserves a slap in the face too...
 
When you watch 'Tigger' first act, he moves to restrain the boy's arm. Why would he go for the arm when the kid's face is right there. My supposition is that the boy was doing enough of something with that hand behind Tigger's back causing Tigger's reaction.
 
I thought he was going to hit one of the small children. How old is that guy? 12 or so? What a wuss. He didn't even hit him. It looked more like Tigger lost his balance or something. I can understand the parents being upset, but their son is a wuss.

30 years ago the father would told the boy to suck it up, went over to the Tigger character told him off and that would've been the end of it. Now they have to go through all kinds of legal junk. Sheesh....

Anyway, Tigger probably noticed the kid was falling over so he turned to catch him and accidentally hit him in the face. You can see how he goes to brace the kid by the shoulder as he loses his balance. The family is overreacting big time.

At least Tigger didn't give the kid a mushroom stamp like the old one would've.

I think calling this kid a "kid" is too much of a compliment. I've seen 2-year-olds that aren't as much of a whiner as him.
 
Sorry guys for being a party pooper. I hate crappy lawsuits and annoying claims just as much as anyone, and I immediately thought when I read McLaren's post that this was another bogus claim.

But when I see the normal-speed segment of video, I see the kid falling, exactly when Tigger squeezes the kid's arm. I looks like Tigger was grabbing and pulling the kid. I think the kid was messing with Tigger's back. I don't know about this "slap" though, but those big poofy hands would have to hit you pretty hard to hurt, so I think the kid claiming it hurt means he's just a crappy person. I don't like him. And he has the voice of a democrat.
 
The kid is big, though. If Tigger hit me "out of the blue" like that, I'd knock his hat off. It'd be different if Tigger hit a 4 year old like that, which is what I originally thought the story was concerning.
 
Seriouly. That kid should've talked to Tigger. You know, ask "Dude. What was that about?"

The way it's playing out, on the Disney side, it looks like Tigger was "threatened." Maybe Tigger was a girl and the guy found her bra strap or something. That would make sense as well. That would explain Tigger's silence.
 
haha. wow. yeah you can clearly see that the kid was antagonizing the person in the suit. i mean the kids hanging on him and stuff but then just all of a sudden the "tigger" turns toward the kid as if trying to stop him from doing something. and the kid smiling, even after being hit, makes it all too obvious he was harrasing the character. typical punk kid.
 
My guess was that the kid was probably playing with the suit's zipper, the guy grabbed the kid's arm, he lost his balance, and the guy accidentally hit him while trying to steady him.

The fact that this made the news is pathetic and the kid is a wuss. Plus, I don't like how his voice sounds. :p
 
That kid was giving Tigger s*** so he reacted the kid was laughing. This shows how (no offence) stupid some americans are. If that was me my family would just laugh at me
 
That's the kind of video that I would send into You've been framed/caught on camera. I certainly wouldn't claim it was assault.

That needs to be made into an avatar.
