They should have tuned his golf buggy :D

I can't imagine the Pope going round in a F1 car, not even 17 years ago.

I heard about this a few weeks ago.

That model is freaking awesome. I want one too! (:

Here's a pic from when John Paul II met Gerhard Berger in 1988.

Yeah 1:5, nice size, I'd prefer the real thing though ;)

Thats cool, but its sad to see the Pope in that kind of condition, it seems like he's in pain, and every time he says a word, you can feel the pain...

Can you imagine, last season, Ferrari won the F1 championship with a big margin. Now for 2005, with the help of the Pope's blessing they will be even better and score a 1-2 for each race.
Of course, in order to win everyone know that it's a lot cheaper to ask for the Pope's help than to hire a good aerodynamic engineer :)

yeah but if it works, it'll propably safe some money ;)
not that this amount will make F1 any cheaper :dunce:

I loved the headline on ITVs F1 site ''The pope is honoured to meet michael Schumacher''.

It would be cool if it had a function 1:5 engine and some radio controled servos to control the throttle, gearbox, and steering with (:

Can I have the model please ?....
