Very cool! Imagine bringing that to an Airport and having to open it up to the staff that work there. I can imagine their faces.

Its just a really cool laptop basically.

I have a laptop.
Is there plexiglass over the main circutry of that thing? because a simgle spec of dust hits the motherboard and thats the whole thing screwed.

What do you think is inside the laptop case of yours?

There is dust all over the place in there.

Anyways .. that isn't a laptop motherboard, it is a Mini ITX desktop motherboard and desktops have a horrible problem with dust anyways. Regardless, dust isn't a problem.

Think of it as sort of a heavy heavy duty laptop.

I look at Mini-ITX's and wonder why it would be advantageous to have such a small form factor. My best reason is for car-based PC's.

I smell a melted LCD monitor. That PSU is too close to the screen when closed.. The heat generated may damage it.

But when you close it, you shouldn't be using it! And there's no heat!

Did anyone actually read the pages? It says that it stays on mainly as a fileserver. Therefore there is no need to keep it open. It is almost consistantly running therefore there will be heat.

I wouldn't use it as a server, I'd make it a full blown high spec PC gladly. Or you coudl fit a projector into it, that would be cool.
