I've heard, NOOOOOOOOOO.

As far as Sony is concerned, the PS2 is obsolete now, it's all PS3.

The PSP has not been designed to sync wih the PS2 in any way. Expect that with GT5.

The USB ports on the PS2 have been designed to interact with software that uses them. So developers program them to do anything they want. Someone thought a headset would be good for a PS2, so they made one and developers programmed that into their games to use. Who would have thought you can save pics to a USB drive from a video game? A developer did, and programed it to make it happen. Madden 2006 PS2 will be able to sync with Madden 2006 for PSP through the USB port or by network. So you’re wrong, it can be done with programming.
