The makers of Ferrari Challenge are creating a new game, called SuperCar Challenger, made by System 3.

From Autoblog:

System 3 has a follow-up title to last year's Ferrari Challenge: SuperCar Challenge. The new game will offer 40 cars to choose from, not all of which are Ferraris this team. The roster will include such cars as the Aston Martin DBR9, Lamborghini Murcielago RGT, McLaren F1, Maserati MC12 and, of course, a supercar or two from Maranello like the Ferrari FXX. You'll be able to race them on 20 real and fictitious tracks and the graphics of each car have been improved with better polygon counts, texture details and buffing. Multiplayer capability can link 16 drivers at once, sim players will get good handling and tuning options, and there'll be an arcade mode for folks who just want to tear up the pavement. The AI has also been redesigned to be more consistent, and there's a "Legendary" AI setting meant to challenge the best drivers.

It will be available exclusively for the PS3 this Spring. While you wait, check out the high-res screenshots below and the video about the game's innovative camera angles by clicking here.

Graphics are horrible comparatively, but more tracks and real race cars may make up the difference. I haven't played Ferrari Challenge myself so I can't talk about physics.

Its not made by System 3, its made by Eutechnyx, S3 is just the publisher and i bet we already have a thread about this game.

I stand corrected with respect to who makes the game, but I am asking specifically if any core GT5:P players are thinking of picking that game up - rather than just a "hey, check this out" thread.

I've had my eye on it for a little bit...hopefully they'll throw out a demo on the PSN unlike with Ferrari Challenge. But depending on when GT5 is released, as we should know a ton of information about GT no later than E3, that is what I'm going to base my decision upon.

Since SuperCar Challenge is going to be released sometime this spring, if GT5 isn't far off, I can almost guarentee I'll never play SuperCar again after I get GT5.

We have threads on Supercar Challenge here, and here.

We don't need another one in completely the wrong forum and I'm not seeing any specific questions (apart from the title which isn't really that specific)
