https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33340&highlight=online This was posted a while ago and then died. It is possible to play over the internet like this. PS2 can send data to computer, program can send it and receive it and send back to PS2. For xbox, you find games though the program, pick a game, now you can chat with all the people. When you do this, it send info to the xbox saying it sees those xboxs on the system link mode so then you can enter it. Then just treat it as a system link game.

That was all for XBOX. But now this program is supposed to let you play ps2, xbox, and gamecube. So far, it says none are supported, but we should see some soon. If anybody know any more info on this, please let us know. Sorry if this has been posted or is supposed to be in the ps2 forums, but I didn't see any recent posts and figured more people were here then the ps2 forum.

Damn, I forgot Gran Turismo 3 used I-link and its not an ethernet based game. So it won't work unless their is some cable converter or something like that.

You are correct, GT3 is based off of a direct PS2 to PS2 connection. It won't work, unless someone figures out the coding behind it.

And if you've figured out the GT3 coding, you'll make far more money doing other things with it, than creating a gamers website. ;)

Wow, had a discussion about this earlier with Ryen, and we came to a similar conclusion.
