GT is the only game I own for ps3 👍

Almost same here, I own GT5, GT5P, and F1 2010.

I got the PS3 more than a year ago just for Blu-Ray player and for GT.. but I use the brower almost daily. Even though PS3 browser mostly sucks, YouTube HD vids are sweet on my 52" 1080p Sharp Aquos using PS3Youtube ( http://www.ps3youtube.com ), and I can view GTPlanet and post here fine. PS3 is a useful little console.

I haven't put any other game in my PS3 since I bought GT5, but I can't honestly say I haven't WANTED to...!

If it weren't for the arcade-y handling, and how that would mess up my carefully practiced GT5 chops, I might have put Shift back in and played that a bit online. I'm sorry to say, but I found online racing in Shift FAR more addictive and just plain FUN than I have found GT5 to be. I know, a fair bit of it is simply getting used to the more realistic handling (but I raced on Shift with all aids off other than Low steering assist, to get rid of the DFGT 'wobbles' that didn't plague the pad users), but a LOT of it is about just how easy Shift is to get a race online, driving pretty equal cars against each other, and the online leaderboards, where, if you set a personal best, you'll climb the ladder. I have several Top 50 times, and it's always fun to try and get just a BIT faster.

Manufacturer Races, where you drive the stock version, was some of the tightest and most fun racing I've had, and I've yet to come across anything online with GT5 that comes as close. Sometimes, TOO much choice works against you. 1000 cars, and extensive personalization of upgrades can make for a pretty difficult time finding a good match.

I'm sorry, but I'm finding it harder and harder to resist putting Shift back in (and pre-ordering the new Shift, too). I find I play GT5 maybe only about 10% of what I used to play Shift... Driving physics isn't EVERYTHING, and it sure doesn't equate to FUN if the rest of the game is flawed.

Got my ps3 as a shared gift for myself and my 2 little boys, wife got me black ops, GT5, kids got Fifa 11, NFS hot pursuit, and loads of other titles like modnations, little big planets, Move etc etc. I have played black ops once, could not get on with it as I play on my PC so seems backwards playing it on a control pad. The PS3 is going to end up the same as the PS2 and even the PS1 as soon as you play GT all the other games gather dust.

Am letting the boys practice and get better, so eventually they can grind for me lol.

Ok fellas, so who feel asleep at the wheel?

*raises hand*

I almost did! It was in the endurance 4 hour roaster, it was in the 3 hour. I woke when I dropped my DS3, and found myself in the sand.

Now I'm afraid of driving while I'm sleepy. When you do your REAL driver license test, they should test you in this! đź’ˇ

Well, if you've learned a real world lesson from this, it was worth every penny you paid for GT5!

Next, try texting while you race around... That ought to open your eyes, too!

Well, with as many complaints as I have about the final product... Here I am still playing only GT 5... since release... minus the 2-3 day stint with Brotherhood...

My GT5 disc has been jammed in my PS3 since I first put it in on 27th November!

I never thought any game, let alone a Gran Turismo game, would stop me playing SSFIV.

Up until yesterday I had no games that were close to competing with GT5 but this year is starting off with some great games. Mass Effect 2 stole away 8 hours from me because it is a great game and I'm sure I'll finish it in the next month. My wife heard me play for a few hours, left for a bit and came back and was bumbed she lost track of the story. Now I play that if she's around, otherwise it's GT. Rockband still gets the occaisonal nod and LBP2 is on its way here this week which will get a play through. Only other games on the horizon until the summer is Portal 2 and Duke Nukem.:sly:

Ok fellas, so who feel asleep at the wheel?

Does it count if Bob was driving? My only Bob is not skilled enough yet for me to be able to start a race and walk away, so I have to constantly moniter him so he actually wins the race. If I am laying in bed on Bob watch (that sounds kinda creepy) and I doze off during a race, thats my que to turn off the PS3 and go to bed.

But to answer the original question, aside from the 2 weeks I was away from my PS3 and a week where I was hooked on Mercinaries 2, the disk has not left my console. To tell the truth, I really don't even remember what the disk looks like. I think I have only seen it, maybe 7 times. And I go it 2 days after launch.

GT5 is THE reason i have a PS3... it might get used for netflix and various music uploads, but until another TXRD from Genki comes out for PS3 or an Enthusia remake(plz,plz,plz....:nervous:), i don't see it being used for anything else...

I bought a new console with each GT release. I was waiting for GT5 before I got my PS3 but my wife got it for me last Christmas. Kinda got hooked to MW2 and I was at the midnight release for Black Ops. My daughter was born the same week GT5 was released so I didn't play it until Christmas. Been in there ever since. I'm not really a B-Spec fan but it is awesome while I'm trying to feed and watch the kid.

Almost same here, I own GT5, GT5P, and F1 2010.

Same here (almost). I traded GT5P to help pay for GT5 but held on to F1 2010. I haven't played it since buying GT5 but haven't even finished my first championship and I know I will get excited to play it again once the 2011 season starts.

Then I can get (really) excited for F1 2011

Will be ordering Killzone 3 a couple days before it releases. Once I get that game, I will be playing that for the majority of the time. Once beaten, will most definitely come back to GT5.

The only other games I've got are GTA, Red Dead Repemtion, and GT4... and they're all collecting dust since GT5's release.

I litterally put the game in my PS3 and it hasn't left since then. Any free time I have is put directly into GT5... I hadn't even watched actual TV since release. It's come to the point to where I kinda use the Main Menu as a "screensaver" when I'm not playing.

GT5 is a very addicting game.

I finally gave up and sold all my FPS titles late last year because they were consuming my free time. Started playing Red Dead Redemption a few times a week and was doing really well with my addiction - until GT5 came out. Now I'm back on the wagon.

I got NFS:HP for Christmas, and haven't even opened the box yet. GT5 has been the only game in my PS3 since release day. :sly:

I was wasting too much time with Mafia Wars on Facebook. Thank goodness for GT5. It has got me back to proper gaming.

So glad I'm single at the moment, no worries about other half moaning.

I haven't played anything else since it was released. I'd be on it right now if my daughter and her friend weren't round hogging the TV.:sly:

Yeah I'm divorced (almost), so no one to nag me. I do what I want, when I want. Life is good.

Same here (almost). I traded GT5P to help pay for GT5 but held on to F1 2010. I haven't played it since buying GT5 but haven't even finished my first championship and I know I will get excited to play it again once the 2011 season starts.

I forgot, before F1 2010 came out, last summer after watching a simracingtonight F1 CE for PS3 review I went and got a used copy of F1 CE at my local GsmeStop. I was not happy with the GFX on my 52" HDTV. I wasn't liking the the physics either. I traded that back in for like $8 towards F1 2010 the day that came out.

I was about 4 or 5 races into my 100% length race career mode when GT5 came out. I was really impressed with F1 2010 especially after the patch. Always with no driving aids it's a great racing game in general, and since then I got a sim seat SR2 Platinum.. but since GT5, F1 2010 hasn't been back in, not even to test out my racing sim rig which I desperately needed for F1 2010. Anyway, after GT5 I will be finishing my crazy 7 year, 100% length race distance career in F1 2010- but that may be a long time from now.

GT5 only with an exception:
2 afternoons playing little big planet with my wife!

Assassin's creed, Heavy rain, Modnation racing and some other brand new games (PS3 bought this fall) just touched BEFORE november.

I bought my PS3 for GT5 in 2007... just a little early.
So now my ps3 have been on for 2 months straight!
awesome game!

Good Friends,
I been only using Gran Turismo 5 out of my Playstation 3 package since i bought it[28/11/10], although quite frankly, my brother usually play alot of games. But it didn't bother me, as of now i am ready to move on and to buy hot pursuit

I have GT5 and Black Ops currently. Black Ops hasn't been touched in over a month, and I rarely ever play it because I'm hooked on GT5.

I'm looking forward to the next Grand Theft Auto and L.A. Noire, but other than that, I could care less about any other games.

playing nothing else other than gt5 ,,it a work in progress i feel ..glad they made it with all it`s faults ,,it can only improve which it appears to be doing ....

love it ,love it,love it

I currently am, but it's getting old, fast. New updates please? before I leave for some random novelty game which will keep me entertained with fresh new ideas and complications which will inherit my time from then on.
