GT2: Lancia Delta ( just good fun :) )

GT3: RUF RGT N-A tuned to the max

GT4 P:that green Toyota Supra with carbon diffusor, and the Ford GT.

Hiya! :D :O :lol:

I am new to Gran Turismo franchise since I only played GT3 and GT4 :Prologue. Here are my favorites from previous GTs:

1. Tommy Kaira ZZII: This supercar concept is one of my favorite car! :O It looks so beautiful and pretty, but not enough to take my heart away from my McCUTEY!:O:O (McLaren F1) ZZII to me is like with the acceleration of my Skyline R34 in the game, and the handling of nearly an F1 car! :O It's a very fun car for me to drive. Excellent accel, excellent handling and excellent looks to satisfy me! :O :lol:

2. Team Oreca Viper: This car which I used the most for my endurance races is the main car that made endurance race for me alot easier than others for some reason :odd: All I can say about this Viper is that it have excellent handling and its top speed help me catch up to other cars if I fall behind. And plus, whenever I see a Viper...it seems to talk to me and say "Bite ME!" :O:O

3. RUF RGT and Skyline R34: These two cars are my "have for fun" cars. I like to make them as fast as I possibly can and run around in easy races and just have fun. I picked these cars for having fun and of course for winning also because they both have fast acceleration and good looks do it and watch the replays to see them burning around corners! :O

4. GT40: Just plain fun car....thats it! PERIOD! :O :odd: :O

5. McLaren F1 Fina: Although this is in GT4: Prologue, I still look at Prologue as a "Previous" title still :O BEST CAR IN A GT GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED!!! :O And omg omg...no..! I am not going to go crying and going crazy again over this car infront of this thread :O:O ooOOoo my McCutey wants a hug and a kiss. :MWAH!: My Mcutey...ooOOoooo :O

On a completely unrelated note... I see people mentioning the Espace F1...

Ford did something very similar with a Ford Transit...

I wonder if that will sneak into the game too?! That would be cool... F1 cars shaped like buses!

The Ford racing Transit was nothinglike th Espace F1, the Espace F1 was a mid-engined people carrier with a F1 car chassis and F1 car's V10 at it's heart. The Ford racing transit is a 190Bhp front mounted deisel with 4wd (I think it had 4wd) with the then Ford WRC cars livery.

GT1- Cerbera LM, FTO LM (I'm damn sure this wasn't in GT2, so I don't know what some of you are talking about, maybe that FF version?), CRX Del Sol LM, GTO LM.

GT2- Jaguar XJR-15, Ford GT90, Espace F1, Phaeton (it looked too cool), XJ220 LM, Cusco Impreza (RWD WRX, ohhhh baby...), Alfa 155 Tourer, Tommy Kaira ZZII.

GT3- AE86 SS Version, FTO LM, Nismo R34 R-Tune, Viper GTS Team Oreca, 787B, Toyota GTOne.

Every car from past GTs will return (I hope), so I think we'll all be happy. All except me, I will miss the Mirage Cyborg R '92 [R] for the rest of my life, but at least I have the Skyline GT-R(R34) Nur-Special '04. GO FALKEN!!!!!

It was in GT2, it was just very hard to get it. I do believe it was all gold on IA liscences?
 
I think you're right Pistachio, it was certainly a License car, second or third highest license. GT-ONE Race Car was for S license so the FTO may very well have been the IA reward. Who's the chick in your avatar?

So you're pretty much a newcomer to the GT world, McLaren'sAngel? GTs 1 and 2 kind of help you appreciate what GT3 and GT4 Prologue and the upcoming GT4 is like. Both of them sell for under 25 dollars apiece. So if you have at leat 50 bucks to spend and you're not looking to expand your wardrobe, go get them, Miss McLaren. And by the way...

Anyhow, the reason why I mentioned the 3000GT in GT1 was because the car was such a powerful machine. It can sub as a drift car for when you need to corner aggressively, and it could still perform very well, considering I'm more of an aggressive racer in GT1. The 3000GT LM was alright. Could have been better. I remember losing to the Kunimitsu NSX in it at the SSR11 endurance. So as much as an American car enthusiast sees gold in a blow-your-doors-off muscle car, I seen gold in this bit of Japanese muscle. I just hope that I can add "owned a pack of 5 other punks with a sweet Holden or Ford Falcon" to my long list of less-than-stellar accomplishments. Anyhow, yeah. Next?

Um.. i think it was gt1.. my favorite car that i used most of the time was the Race Modd'ed 3000gt or the FTO racemodded. That car was a beast...
 
Oh, yeah...the Castrol GTO LM was an awesome car!(3000GT)
I really liked the ZZII in GT2.
Also, the Camaro Race Car.

Alfa-Romeo 155 LM -- nutz!

Traditionally, the R390 LM, GT-One, 787B, Zonda, have provided the most intense battles with me and my friends (my imaginary ones, too).
None of them can keep up with me in GT3 Formula1.

Have you even compared the two cars stats? Like 0-60, engine performance, lap times? I think not cause you're not accessable to that information.

Hmmm!!!!

Although I have to say I have a little soft spot for the old Vitz (Yaris)... as it was the first car I bought in GT3... and it did me proud... It whipped up some money for me with it's extra exhaust and triple plate clutch that I installed... then as the money flowed in I dropped the weight and finally added some tyres... then the engine got some overhaul...

Then I bought the Impreza of course... everyone's 2nd car!! Sorted that out... and by the time I was into the Pro series I had plenty of prize cars that I could use... although I had to buy a couple to make up for ones that I was missing so that I could race in the specialised series...

On the ps1 gt games I allways loved the gto twin turbo when it was fully done up to stupid amounts of BHP :D fricking awesome!

In GT1 a souped up Impreza could win almost every race... until you unlocked the TVR Cerbera LM!!

You know, the big bad powerful cars are not always good. I think the Vitz just pwns them all. All of them. It may not stand againest a GT-One Race car, but its still a damn cool ass car, cause I would drive the shiznits out of it.
 
^ the Vitz IS a lot of fun to race... i just redid the Vitz series and it was a lot of fun plowing around the tracks. Ya the test course sucked... but it always does. Anywho... ya the car is garbage next to a jtgc car or tuned factory monster, but don't automatically discredit the fun factor from taking one of the lesser cars out on the track... Lupo Cup Car, Vitz, 206, Civic SiR can all be a lot of fun to drive.

You know if you look on web sites for fastest times you'll find that the GT-One is almost always fastest barring the F1 cars. The R390 is very close though and it was very fast in real life as well but the R390 stopped racing before the GT-One was stopped.
 
The fist on my list is a handfull of Venturi's
I cant believe how many people like Venturi's! :eek: :eek:
