All team members post your runs here in this thread when you are finished. I will then submit the time before the deadline. For races where two people are working on the same race, both drivers please post your best times and I will turn in the best one I have before the deadline. Thanks, Todd
 
In case you are running late and I am not online or some other emergency, you can submit your own time in the following manner:

Times are to be submitted via email to: bc5admin@gmail.com. Each time submittal must include the following information:

Team Name
Driver Name
Round #
Total Elapsed Time (ET)
Individual laptimes for multi-lap races

4.2: Replay submittals: All times must be verified by a submitted replay file. Preferred method is via Xport / Sharkport v2 or Max Drive file submitted to the BC5 Administrator / Review Committee at the designated location. Drivers without these devices may physically mail a memory card containing the replay to their Team Managers for electronic forwarding. Replays submitted by any means must be received no more than 10 calendar days after the Round deadline. Each replay file must include the following in the Comments section:

Team Name
Driver Name
Round #


Please make sure the file name save on your memory cards has team name, driver name, and round number in the comments field. You can change the name in the replay theatre menu, so if your run does not have this info, plaese make sure it does before attatching it here.

Ron's time was already submitted by me, but here's the info:

Replay has not been submitted yet because I wasn't sure if you had the comments field as specified in the rules. Sorry Ron if you have to change it, but if you do just attatch the .max file with the corrected comments field here so I can send it in.

Well here you go!

This is about the best time i can manage, maybe Toffe can do better.

It really is about getting the right AI selection im afraid. I know they arent supposed to be a factor, but in this race they really were responsible for a second or so on lap one, unless you got the right combo.

Im sorry to have only managed a 1'17, as the best time should be somewhere near 1'15.9 or so, but i honestly could not get a better selection of AI, or run any faster. When this time fell into my lap, i knew it was the one to keep.

OK, I will not be home for the 12 hours leading up to the deadline, so I have appointed Mr P as co-captain so he can submit the better time for round 2. Once Toffe shows up and lets us know what his time was, I will need Ron to submit the time to the email listed above in post 2. Once you have submitted, please leave a quick note letting everyone know that the round 2 time has been sent. If for some reason Ron hasn't checked in or posted that he has turned in the time as the deadline approaches, either Toffe or vexd can submit directly also. We are only allowed one submission so I am hoping you guys will let each other know what is going on as I won't be available to help out. It's all in your hands you three, good luck.👍

I cant guarantee i will be around either, cos i have limited access, and Toffe comes online after my net goes down, and i dont get back on till 12:30PM GMT, so really its up to the Toffer and our resident superhero to sort out.

First of all, I would like to say how much I have hated this combo. HATED!!! :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: I will sell that Reanult the first I do when playing GT4 the next time! But it's been fun anyway, it's been fun working with vexd.....

I really tried everything I got today, but I couldn't do better. (Wierd considering much faster times actually are possible as vexd mentioned...) Drove for over 3 hours. Honestly speaken I'm surprised I reached down to these times. Some days ago, my time was "unbeatable" 1'18.7xx. I did my best. :indiff: I saw 1'17.665 once but it was dirty unfortunately.

I just sent in vexd's time for round 2, so it is all taken care of, you guys won't have to do anything this time. On to round 3 now...
 
I just watched your run Vexd, looks clean to me 👍, Ive also renamed the file name within GT4 to "GTP Vexd BC5 RD2" and also the filename to the same.

Thanx to everyone for congratulating us on our times (Toffe and I) it truly was a very challenging race, and Toffe and i managed to knock countless thousandths and hundreths and tenths off of the time, but we both know there are a lot more to come, so i for one am not that confident we have finished brilliantly, but i do know that we have done our best.

Where do i see the results? Are they up yet?

Basically, well done everyone, what a team, im am soooo proud to be a part of it.

Nice job MR8 on the round 3, some tough competiton there, but your run got us out of a 3 way tie for 7th and into 7th place alone for now. We are surely able to jump up a few spots with some solid runs as we're not too far off of the next few spots. I thnk from here on out with Alpine, Z., Fryz, Shunt, Hot, Holl, and veil still to submit we'll have a good chance to do some damage as each round goes by. Keep shaving those laps everyone, maybe a podium can happen with a hard push towards the end.👍

I'll not be available to submit the round 4 time as I'll be at work the 12 hours before the deadline again.:indiff: So I'll either need Alpine's run for submittal with more than 12 hours to spare, or Alpine can submit directly as described in post 2 of this thread once he is finished with his run, or Ron can help us out if needed also. Let us know how you want it done, Alpine. Thanks.:)
 
I'm gonna give it 1 more short session today and then upload the replay here. Been busy trying to catch up with school and failing :grumpy: .

Edit: Here's my replay. The more i watch it the more i feel pretty good about it. Not great because i know someone out there will probably blow my time out of the water, but good lol. Dont really see any glaringly obvious mistakes that cost me alot of time. I tried to keep wheel spin to an absolute minimum, and i only see a tenth here and there on corner speeds.

Alpine's entry was just emailed in. The final time was 1'38.124. The run looked pretty good from what I could tell, we'll have to see what the other teams pull out of thier asses. Looked like a pretty fun combo actually.:)

Well, hopefully the sessions I put in over the coming days yield a little more time as I still see .2 or so left out there. Down to 1'28.405 now, just hoping for a competitive result. :scared:

Well, I'm not going to have much time today to run and I didn't get anywhere with last night's session, so the lap is this 1'28.405 attached here. Hope it holds up in the results. Thanks for giving me a race seat, I've very much enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of this team. 👍

OK Mr.Veil, you're up today. I won't be able to turn in your time since I won't be home, so go ahead and send your final time to the email address in Post #2 when you are finished. You can also PM your Time to Duke after emailing for added security. After you submit your time, please post here so everyone knows that you got it in on time.
