I'm very new to drag racing and I've been reading the drag tuning bible post and would like to ask a question. What do you guys think about the potential for the Audi Le Mans Quattro '03 for Indy? I really like german cars so if you have any suggestions for one that has potential in the area of drag racing they are welcome.

If tuned right this car is a weapon
 
At indy it will beat the enzo, the acr and the gtr 09, at ssrx it will be a very close race with the gtr 12 and the aventador.
 
Take a look at DLR's sticky'd thread on the drag car classes.

Btw the Sauber and BMW v12 can be found in level 23 tickets.
 
Where can I get lvl 23 tickets? I got a lvl 22 from a seasonal event and I know you get a level 24 from all gold on the extreme series which I am close to. Thanks for the input guys and when I get it tuned right, I'll see you on the track.
 
DLR's car class is pretty accurate but at the time that list was made the le mans wasn't as quick as it is now. It's really a class 0.

the trap speeds are a little off, and some of the launch ratings are a bit off but its a very good general set out. i totally agree that the LMQ sholld be moved up.

That thing was like super exaggerated (much more than all the other NFS cars)
I had the meanest viper and vette though.

Haha the tuners were epic handlers.. My viper overtook him on the first straight ;) i then just blocked him for 10 seconds loke a boss :D

Yeah somehow I couldn't afford a Viper in the game...the 2nd best I could afford was a Nissan 350z, and somehow that was able to beat Darius as well lol

Haha nice, I saved most my money, I had 4 cars in total bought, and I'd always go for the boss tickets for career. The Mazda 3 for tier 1, the Golf for tier 2 which I managed to unlock the Murcielago with haha. and the Viper and Vette and I ended up getting the boss Charger and Aston Martin.

DLR's trap speeds are not at the shadow but at the point where he calculated the 1/4 mile mark to be.

Which never made any sense to me at at since 99% of people race to the shadow.

Yeah, it was frustrating for me trying to tune off of those speeds not knowing this in the beginning. I was trying to achieve those speeds at the shadow. I almost quit because it made me think I was that bad and I wasn't making any progress. After I realised what he meant I felt better and saw that I wasn't as far off as I thought I was.
 
I think people feel the shadow is a defined finish line. As to trying to guess who crosses the speaker hanging up on a fence.
 
No B-spec online challenge with Spa and Sarthe is a 23. I used it to get me an Escudo
