Has anybody come up with a way of predicting stock pp for cars that are not in the game yet, like for example the ariel atom v8's pp?
MSTER232I used to have a formula to estimate the cars PP but I forgot some of it. Here's what I remember:
Performance Points = Weight / BHP x 10 (Given PP value may be off by 70 or so pp)
Or at least the equation was something like this.
Except powerband and downforce also needs to be taken into account. It's why high level race cars lose PP when given a turbo on occasion.

I like it. But Go karts. What did PD do to Go Karts? And why can't I drive one in a seasonal on the Go Kart track? Oh PD, I love you so much but sometimes I just wanna .......
Oh on topic, maybe manufacturers can add that stat to their sales brochures.
"And now, presenting the all new Chevy Volt, with an electric engine and an approximate PP number of 382."

Off topic:
Why is everyone hung up on the Ariel Atom? Is it a very cool and fast car? Yes. But there's little or no racing purpose for it in Gran Turismo. To me, it's that simple. If there were several other like cars to it that could be raced against it, I would want it too.

Not yet. Would be a good project though.
