PP keep changing

Scenario - Racing online. Room owner chooses limit of say 500 performance points. I find a car in my garage with say 490 PP and select it. I go to car set-up... but PP is now 445.

I can replicate this with any car.

Why? Checked that power limiter wasnt set to something lower, and weight ballast. Nothing strange there. Just a big drop in PP from what is listed on the garage screen.

I've seen the same; I suspect this is a leftover from 1.06, when tires were part of the PP calculation.

Once you entered the setup screen (and leaving it without changing anything), the 'correct' (spelled: new) calculated PP score is displayed.

He is correct here, all of my cars had the "old" pp listed until I selected the vehicle and it changed right away.

this one.. I had this problem,, but its not a problem it just sets new PP limit only then when you select the car manualy.. no problem at all and this thread is nothing but a time waster!

Well its not a time waster if you don't know, is it? you muppet! That's why I asked!
 
I've noticed the same thing! It's very annoying because a car that I think is fast (based on the PP) turns out to be slow.
 
It is a major issue, as - once again - PD failed to deliver a feature that actually works as expected. What's the point of being able to sort your garage by Performance Points if the actual value is only displayed once you manually enter the Settings tab on each and every car. The issue with missing thumbnail pics still has not been resolved, either. One would think now that they added a "Select Multiple" option in v1.06 this would allow to rebuild thumbnails for multiple cars at once, but no - the "feature" only allows setting the "Favorite" attribute for multiple cars. Hopeless...
