I was in another thread listing my game stats and was looking at mileages driven. I started to think about it and began to realize that i do A LOT of testing in GT mode/practice. Then it clicked...

Is it true that you don't put miles on cars in practice mode?

And is it true then, that this doesn't contribute to total mileage?

AND, does this not put wear on chassis and engine?

Practice mode does put mileage on the car. not sure though if you don't save after. It does if you save.

I don't think that mileage counts towards your mileage driven.

If you go online in a lobby and don't start the race and only practice, mileage doesn't add up.

Offline practice adds mileage to both your car and your total/overall distance.

I have noticed that online free roam and online races that you do not finish do not add mileage to cars and total mileage. I think everything else does, even Arcade Mode. Typical GT5 inconsistency.
