Though I've not made my final GT3 vids, this was an evedent necessity. All I've seen since I got home with my copy of GT4 is enough b!tchin about the f-ing physics to make the monthly rag-fest at the sewing circle wince!!!!! People, come on!!!!!! Remember when we all got GT3 when it came out, and it was harder than hell to control??????? Let's step up, and start helping each other out.

Ok wow nice job there. I can't say much as i haven't gottent the cash in Cr to start drifting, but it looks like the probleams as you said will be overcomed in time, Keep up the good work 👍

Thanx for all the much needed support. I reason I left GTP in the first place was because of the lack of support, and the childish drama flamefesting going on. All I seemed to be doing was defending people left and right, and proving their points for them. Nothing was getting accomplished, so when CMD wanted to start a team with me, I jumped at the chance.

I'm with you Tank, a DS2 drifter, and proud of it....sure it's hard, but sustained drift is possible in GT4. Make that vid!!!!!!! BTW Stylz, that "low-ride" thing of hilarity is actually a '62 Buick Special. I thought it looked sooooo ghetto, I had to use it. I think that'll become my GT4 trademark, if not my avatar!!!!! :lol: It's f-ing hard to get sideways, but it TURNS on a freakin' dime leaving 8-cents change!!!!!

I'm going to concentrate on GRIP driving for right now, and get used to the characteristics of the new physics. Maybe I'll post some settings fo y'allz.
 
using the wheel is hard.. Not sure how long its gonna take me.. to drift good with it but, I won't give up! IDM POWER!!!! lmao :crazy:

Wheel???? Hell, I'm still using a DS2 man!!!!!! I have an MC2 by Madcatz, but I'm not sure how well that will work. Try setting you wheel settings to "Professional" mode. You might have a better chance of getting the damn thing to respond better.

Don't care what others think so much.....I'm drifting, they're not. There's not much choice if you want to be able to use downforce to your advantage. Those that wish to make fun of it have their own insecurities to deal with....not my problem.
 
Hehe, MC2 wont work at all, I tested it ;) but now I have DFP thank god! that's heaven man... Have not tested drifting as I just have ''Prologue'' and BMW Demo :P

oh sorry, i just have MC for PS1, ignore this.

nah...just sarcasm. Personally, I hate the wings in GT4. So I live with them in order to get what I want....drift or grip. Wasn't an attack on you, but merely a thought on your comment that OTHERS will b!tch......I really don't give a $h!t.......;)

Im also using a DS2, you mentioned setting the wheel settings to professional. I know there was different steering assists in GT3, couldnt find any for GT4. Im assuming its already realistic enough already, i just didnt know if i missed something. Anyone know?

I think he means wheel settings to professional for the MC. Not for the DS2.


BTW, That was a really nice drifting video. Am I the only one that watched the whole thing? It looked to me that the end of it said something about drifting date : 05/XX/2005... Maybe you drifted the DeLorean "back to the future"? :lol: killer video tho... :) 👍

Nope.....2/22/05.....GT4's official release. Got the game at 8:30pm after 30 mins of standing in line, and finished replays by 3 am. Thanx for the complements....wish I did have that DeLorean........think of the mischief I could cause!!!!!!

No, there are a TON of Steering Wheel options in the Options menu. DFP, MC2, you name it.......all can be set to "Professional" Mode. Look at every icon until you find it, as I can't remember where I saw it off the top of my head.
 
The old GT3'ers are coming in a bit late.....lol.....

I have a download limit so.....well.....I better be carefull.
I'm sure it's good though:D Keep it up:p
