Well guys, It doesn't look like I'll have enough time to continue doing these reviews by myself. SO, consider this your official invitation to be interviewed for reviews on cars. I'll ask all of you who are interested to pm me a review of the Lotus Elise 111R. You don't need to add pictures for this, but please do stick with the original format of the bolded segments of the review such as
-overview etc. In the end you can put requested by me, Flamango247 since I'm requesting this. Don't worry about laptimes, I'll still be doing those for every car that's reviewed to make sure everyone still gets consistent info. Also put what game of Gran Turismo you've started at in the series. I've played Gran turismo 1 but I didn't get started into the series until around GT5 prologue so I'd say I began at GT5 prologue. Pretty simple.
-Requirements: Please take these things into consideration before you think about reviewing cars. When I began I thought this would be an easy and fun project but it is actually a bit time consuming. Testing a car, writting the reviews, getting all the info you need and comparing them to other cars in the same category (450 car is in a 440-460pp category) can take 30, 45 or more minutes to do. Also, you're not just driving around a track. You need to know the suspension and how every thing works with it. You need to know what dampeners do, how the stiffness affects handling and the same for every other part of the suspension, weight distribution, how torque works, what a car
should sound like even if you've never heard it (you know what American cars sound like, big V8's etc and you know what Italian cars sound like, symphony of V12's etc) You need to know the history and handling characteristics of past cars. Take Lamborghini for example, they're all terrifying cars to drive with limited grip and always guessing if you'll make it through the entire corner. You need to know this so you can say that the Aventador handles differently from all those cars. You need to know some basic history behind the cars such as how the Miura revolutionized the super car with it's Mid Engine platform, the first for the road cars of it's day and little details such as how when the doors open they resemble and bull's horn. As you can see there's a lot of work that goes into these reviews. They aren't something just throw together, they take a reasonable amount of understanding oh the physics of the game and how everything ties together along with you need to know some interesting facts about the cars. If you know about the suspension stuff and willing to spend some time getting the know the cars along with some basic facts about them, this could be for you and it's pretty fun because it gives you a goal on actually buying cars you wouldn't otherwise buy.
-What I'll ask you: To make sure they aren't fake entries or someone who doesn't know what they're doing just trying to do these reviews, I'll ask you some questions on suspension setups, history on cars, facts, your driving skills etc, basically almost everything I mentioned above really.
-You ready?: Alright, well I told you what I'll be looking for, how to submit your reviews to me, make sure they're private messages to me, not here on this thread please, and I'll be looking foreward to a partnership for you all. Thank you all for supporting this idea, it has been a load of fun and rewarding work but now real work and daily life is taking over and I just can't do it by myself. Because of this, the reviews wouldn't be as consistently reviewed as before and I'd feel terrible for letting you all down so It's time I brought in some help. So please, once again, submit your reviews to me and if you're lucky, you'll get to review cars
