The only ones I've really liked so far in this thread have been the 05 Mustang and the Mazda 6.

And who can forget the lovely Acura TSX?

The 147 looks like a dog trying to look at a vagina which has appeared on the end of its nose. The Chrysler Crossfire looks like a widemouth frog (though not as much as the Peugeot 407). The Volvos still look like hand-crafted bricks.

What do you have to say about the 2005 Acura TSX?

Acura TSX = Honda Accord.

Looks alright, in an overblown saloon way. Doesn't come even close to the Alfa Romeo 156 though - and the Alfa Romeo 156 Sportwagon is the best of the bunch.

I'm still trying to find a car that fits the bill. Unfortunately neither we nor you get the Honda Integra Type-R/Acura RSX Type-R which would take the prize quite easily (go have a look at one in the flesh, if you can).

But beautiful hand-crafted bricks.

Yet still, when the sun goes up the next day, bricks.

jpmontoya – Funny you put the Volvo up, because after going through the $28k list, I've picked this:

(I think its lines flow better at the back than the sedan's. Both are gorgeous though.)

Totally agree about the wagon - blue or dark gray = gorgeous hand-crafted bricks. :D It's a shame that the T5 are way too much overpriced though, especially with the option packages. TSX or G35s are better deals. :indiff:

No cause they all come with 'altezzas' :yuck: Or does your dads not?

RX-8 I vote for.
The Mazda 6 above is the same car as what my Dad has except it isn't blue, it's a manual and it hasn't got twin exhausts and a spoiler.

Plus, who can call a Toyota Corolla pretty.

If we had done this a month or two ago, I'd certainly have to nominate the BMW 3 Series; the new one still looks great, but I prefer the looks of the E46.

Otherwise I have to go with the Mustang GT.

According to Top Gear magazine, the on the road price for a 189bhp Mazda RX8 is £20,100.
If £20,000 really is over $28,000 U.S., you could easily afford the RX-8 in the U.S. :) Nice pick, btw.

My pick is Honda Accord Wagon.

It was Indeed, I see a lot of them everywhere. They actually make my S70 interior (and almost everything in the car, engine included) less outdated. It's also the car that made me like the color orange :)

But if we're counting used cars, there's way too much possibilities for under $28K...

What do you guys think the best looking new car on sale for less than £20,000 ($28400) is?

Personally, I think it's the Alfa Romeo 147. The lines are classic, and all this beauty comes cheaply.
And this car seriously looks more expensive than it is (£13,360).

What do you guys reckon the best looker for under £20k is?

The C70 was sold in Canada was it not? I live in Toronto as well and I've seen them around.

Maybe I just have crap luck, or I overlook them thinking they are Volvo sedans which are everywhere. I can't even remember seeing one at the Volvo dealership when I was there last month!

Since I noticed a used car or two mentioned, how about the TVR Tuscan, Tamora, Chimera, Griffith or Cerbera all of which can befound for under £20k.
