My uncle used to own a '55 Chevy but it's now in bits under his car port awaiting a restoration that is most likely never happening. He's absolutely crazy about the '57.

I, on the other hand, would like to own one but considering that a decent '57 Bel Air goes for anywhere between AU$20,000-$100,000 I doubt that's going to happen.

My Uncle owns one of just a select few '57 wagons in Australia.

A decent '57 Bel Air for AUS $20,000!? Wow, thats cheap! Why do you doubt it's gonna happen?

Nomad Gasser = Epic Win 👍

You can get a lot of bodyshells (new) from old muscle cars.

i think year one sells them as well. Around 20000 just for the shell (mainbody) to get a whole car you probably need 50000 bucks and a lot of time and some knowledge.

Yes, very cool. The '55 and '57 Chevy can be ordered turn key ready though.
