Have you bought a spare G2 yet?
Not yet, but I am looking for a good deal in my area.
Both you guys are more pc savvy than me
Savy is not the word I would use to describe my level of knowledge. Not sure jumping from a 3080 to a 4080 is significant enough, as much of the dlss stuff is mostly irrelevant for Ac and VR in general. I would go for a 5080, when you can afford it.
I still can't get into toolkit but I did not need to before so will leave it for now.
Same here.

@Masscot one thing about your micro stutters.
I remember I did have the same in a WW1 combat flysim game WoFF. I was constantly measuring with Afterburner/HWinfo64 in onscreen display mode trying to determine in real time the source. One day I decided to disable the whole thing because I did give up my search. Then miraculously there was no micro stutters.
So if you are logging like with CM own, PrecisionX, FramecapX, Fraps, GPUz or whatever logging software try to disable that and see what’s happen.

Thanks for the idea, but no, I don't run any of that stuff.

Has anyone else found in VR you get to a point in tweaking the game where it looks amazing save everything then start the game the next day with the exact same set up and it doesn’t look as crisp almost like something isn’t pulling through or loading correctly. I’m using the Quest 3.

Thanks

Sounds like typical compression artefacts with wireless headsets. Get a Reverb G2 with display port for consistent video quality?

Thanks, I’m using a wired connection using Quest link but usb. Be good to compare it to another headset one day as quests have all I’ve used since the first one. It looks great sometimes but inconsistent so could be limitations of the Quest and its usb connection I guess. Seen a few videos of the Pimax crystal light but looks a bit big and also the expense of changing.

Yeah, the video over USB is heavily compressed. It's a real shame that the Quest didn't include optional display port for tethered use with lossless video.
