In sweden most new games retail at 599 swedish kronor, that is 63,98 euro :)

599Kr can also let you (almost) fill up your car with gas, if you'd rather take a drive in real life ;)

RRP in the USA is $59.99. On occasion this can be lowered by various retailer deals, but regardless that is the most common game price at release.

UK RRP tends to be £44.99. No one pays that of course.

That is only 470 swedish kronor, your games are cheap! :)

Both you & me are being screwed at the PS Store compared to the US however :(

Most new games are around £40-5. However, game prices drop significantly once they become old. I bought a brand new Fallout New Vegas around two months ago under £20.

Yes, they drop significantly in price over here too, I bought New Vegas yesterday for 189Kr = £18 ;)

Games in the UK sell for around £30-£40, however the price falls like a stone pretty quickly. I like the idea that supermarkets have to sell you a brand new release for like £20 if you do a £50 shop or something.

In Australia, really high production games can retail on day 1 up to $120 ($130 USD). That is why I do not have a PS3, nor Xbox 360

We pay an absurd amount for each game, and you still have to pay for dlc's. If everyone thought like me, are sure that lowered the price of games!

now only buy games, low price! even if you have to wait an eternity.

I have got games that are about a year old (as in release date. new disk) for £9.

Few games drop that much over here, and those who do are the really crappy ones :)

In Portugal the price of new games is really too big. And we can't rent game neither:grumpy:. I only buy games up to a maximum of 30 euros (except New Vegas which was 35 euros:p).
