Private race with friends?

I havent really looked threw all of the menus yet, but is there not an option to have a private race with your mates?

Bit disappointing if you cant...

I'm sure you will be able to later, but you can't pick who you race at the minute.

Remember that even IF you can organise this later on, there will be the problems with the networking (i.e. if one of your connections is not good enough to host etc...)

I think though it will be very important that PD add this functionality, simply because people like to run tournements and thus avoid cheaters on the leader boards.

i have not got gt5p yet but on gt4 i raced my friends online using a site called xlink. you set up your games like your were giong to race on s system link and somehow the site tricked the other peoples routers to think that they were setting beside you in your own house. it was a little trouble to get going the first couple of times but after a couple tries we got it going pretty quick. i dont know if this works for gt5p but you might want to go to the site and check it out. i use to race a guy who was in N.Y. and i am in ohio. the site will answer any questions you have about getting it setup if i remember correctly.
