Is it possible to make online private rooms?

In your lounge you can't kick people (WTF?!?!) so is it possible to make a private online lobby where you can kick players?

I can't find any options to make it 'friends only' or 'private' or 'password' so I doubt it, but just checking.

You should just call you room "private"... Most of the time it works for me, keeping others out..
