Prize Car Color???

Is there a way to determine what color you will get for a prize car? In GT3 i tried by best to build a white fleet of cars. So I usually like to get white/grey/black prize cars. For example the old skyline you get for winning the FR race in beginner races, I can't win the white car version just red.
In the same line I turned off auto save to do this so I could re-race if I got the wrong color. But I have to reset my PS2 to reload the previous save. Is this correct?
 
Yep, there is no "Load" function (annoying isn't it?) And AFAIK, there is no way to choose your prize car color, nor is there any way (STILL) to change a car's color after you have won/bought it :irked:
 
What ZeratulSG is true.
Just have your B-Spec driver do it for you if you don't want to keep racing it. Racing it yourself on the other hand can only help you become better at the game. 👍

no i find it better not to have one, then when you win the car in the colour you want and your mate didnt then you can say the one you own is special, if you had a paintshop you would tend to make your cars all the same colour!
 
re-race? just sell the car and race again, why would you want to reset if you are going to race again? keep the car you won and if you want white, race again. there is no way to determine what color you will get, but there is a way to check if you can get white at all. once you win/buy a car it will be available in arcade mode in all its colors. [even if you sell it later, it will stay in arcade]. so at least, you can check if a car you won comes in white color at all and if there's any point in re-doing the race.

Ok.....i know it is frustating....when you repeat over and over.....and that color you want so much does not apear......

I make the Tokyo R246 300km for 17 times.....(B-Spect :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: )
The prize car was a Mitsubishi FTO LM Edition '97......there are 7 colors of that car..... I want the black one.............figure the rest of the story.....

I'm in 36% of the game.....and i like to have the car's colors that i like......
I like the Red (ferrari) F1.....allready have 4 F1's.....none is red....i'm starting to dislike the color..LOL.....goshh

I think there are no ''map'' or ''list'' or something to describe how the car's colors apear allways the same or that color the we want.....
 
I collect all white and I think they come by pretty often. Considering that I accept black gray and white for prizes and white for purchases I'm happy with most of my cars. I sell the junk anyways, I'm not one for having a complete garage. I consider it like my own personal car garage why have stuff that devaules the hot s.

As for restetting if you turn off autosave you only have to rerace the very last race instead of having to rerace everything in the series
 
No offence to u lot but a car's a car who cares if you get the wrong colour I mean a red one dosent peform better than a white one. But if you just happen to be O.C.D than i can sort of see your point.

Do any of your friends have a black one?
If so copy the save to another m.card and buy it.
or check for a save on the net and do the same!
