Pro MR

Here's the situation. I have a Zonda C12S, Clio Sport Race Car, NSX Type-R, NXS Type S Zero, and I need to do the last two Pro MR races. I have the money to fully modify all of those cars. They are the best ones I have that are MR. I don't want to buy a car just for those two races. Is there a championship I can do somewhere that I have the chance to win a better MR car? Please help!

you could do the grand turismo all stars in amuter ( i think this ones it) and win the GT40 it is a farily fast car or you could do the Gran Turismo World Championship in ameture and win the toyota gt one road car or if u want a really good car u could do the Gran Turismo All-Stars in professenal legue and win the GT1 race car or the R390 GT1 race car. Its up to you wihich one u wanna do :)

Hmm .. I think you can go with the C12s . This car is pretty powerful when tuned to perfection . Or you could do like Small_Fryz suggested . If you wanna blow the competition , make sure you get the R390 GT1 or the GT-one . I think even the GT-one road car version would be able to handle things well .

I've been having problems with the C12S. It does have brakes right? lol. And it doesn't oversteer correctly for my liking, but that's prolly just my tuning inabilities right now and I'm too used to FR and switching to MR is just different. With the Zonda, the GT40 still pulls ahead by like 10 seconds within the first lap easily cuz the cars in front of me slow me down and **** up my already irratic turn lines... I don't feel like qualifying for a higher position either, I doubt the Zonda is fast enough with my driving to qualify high enough to avoid the clustering group of poor AI drivers.

I can't remember what c'ship it is, but you can win the Mazda 787B, and that's what i used for the MR Race in Pro.

I have a car list, a prize car list, and a non-prize car (buy only) list I made myself... better than anything I've seen on the net. And with each race I'm updating and fixing names and stuff to match exactly what each is called in the Garage. I hate unreliable info on the net. So annoying. Anyway, I was just saying that cuz it's no problem, I can find which race it is with a glance at my notes. Does the 787B handle well? I've never had/driven it before.

Mate, it handles like a farkin' DREAM. It corners superbly, and if you put max power into it, you'll get it above 900hp. Just be sure to put tyres with more life than Mediums on it before you go racing, that's a common problem that people forget - tyre wear is crucial to the performance of your car.

that is y u r losing the mr pro

Take your Zonda to the "Like the Wind" race and you will win the only car there is to win...

The Mazda 787.

That will be more than enough for the rest of the game right up to the F1.

Good luck.

do the super speedway 100 enduro and if u win an f1 car u cant lose:D but i prefer a close race so id go with the mugen nsx or 787b oh or if ur really good the superautobacs apex mrs!

I really really like the Clio Sport racecar. Unfortunately I have no idea if it can be powered up enough to be competitive. But the handling of it is very good.

I'd use the NSX Type-S. Buy super slicks. Its a car thats very easy on tires, I find.

Soup it up all the way. I think it gets to 525hp roughly. Mines only at 435hp and it handles beautifully.

I'd prefer the Type R ^_^ Other than sounding cool "Type R!!!!", it is also a very well balanced car. Sticks to the road for me

You could try and win the Zonda Race Car, just take your Zonda C12s to the Italian Ivant Garde race in the Prof league thats what I used:) If you make it better that is

I've tried using a C12S in the Italian Avant Pro Race. IT CAN BE A FREAKIN NIGHTMARE, but it is doable. Best of luck to you.

Also try Slick tires instead of super slicks. For 10 laps it may be the better choice.

Ok, first, I don't wanna send my prize list to anyone cuz just today I've caught a couple errors in it. I've never beaten the game 100% before, so I've checked multiple prize lists for as accurate info as I can get without personally confirming certain prizes. I don't wanna send anything that's inaccurate at all, cuz I hate when other people do it, :p

Second, I have beat the Pro MR Challenge before in another game. I restarted, and I'm trying to just use cars I can win instead of buying any car I want (you save so much money this way, I've only had to race twice for lack of money issues). I just hate the Zonda's braking cuz I tend to either brake right when the game tells me too, or later than that. With the Zonda you constantly have to brake so much earlier, and if other cars are around, I have no control if I'm bumped. I dread the Avant Garde (maybe there is a god, only two races in that section).

Third, the Clio Sport Race Car is really nice. I beat all the other MR Challenges with it, and the Clio Trophy (which was pathetically easy), also a couple other races as well but I can't remember which. The only problem is, tho it might have the hp and maneuverability to compete with the Pro MR cars, it does not have the torque. it simply can't accelerate initially or out of turns fast enough to keep up with the likes of tuned NSX's, Elise Sport's, and GT40's. Maybe an extremely good driver could do it, but even then I'm not sure.

As for tires... I always liked the Super-slicks. Cheap, long-lasting, if only so many things were like that in real life. Any good car can handle beautifully with them. And you adjust to them too. OMG, I raced with someone else's Super-softs, damn, I like how the cars handle... until I realized I had to pit almost every other lap or my tires would be like 'red' ice (I had to drive rally style by the 4th lap!). Maybe I'm just hard on tires in general, lol. Maybe I happy medium could be found, but like hell I'm going to buy every set of tires and test each set on every track for the perfect traction vs. durability. I don't have that much time, I'll do that after 100% completion. I have other games to finish too (see sig).

damn, I talk to much!

You could try and use the GT40 race car if you have it, just my suggestion, or a one of the NSX's that woks best for me or an F1 is you got that to:)

Look in this thread. I faced this too. I couldn't keep up with the GT40 : https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/t-19846.html

Anyway, the short story is, I got the Arta NSX, and smoked the competition.

Arta NSX - Win All Japan Champ(AMA)/Win SSR11(Endurance)
Castrol Mugen NSX GT Car - Buy 1.25m/Win All Japan Champ(PRO)
Raybrig NSX Race Car - Win GT All-Stars(AMA)

Yep, that's fair enough, just tell me when the list is accurate, because I wanna milk it off you. :p

Firstly, I've never had to race for money, I completed GTC and got the money from that. Second, the Italian Avant Garde is shockingly simple. I completed it with a Zonda C12S (which I won :D) and won the Zonda Race Car.

Third, the Clio Sport Race Car is really nice. I beat all the other MR Challenges with it, and the Clio Trophy (which was pathetically easy), also a couple other races as well but I can't remember which. Cars with low torque outputs are certainly annoying. Are you aware of this trick? On a slow corner, you move up alongside a car, ride them around the corner, and they're sandwiched up against the wall (losing about 3 positions in one - it's a great trick for stopping harder opponents from being up the front too much :D), while you only bounce off that car into the middle of the track and gain some extra speed because you rode a car. It's very effective for cars with lower torque outputs.

As for tires... I always liked the Super-slicks. Cheap, long-lasting, if only so many things were like that in real life. Any good car can handle beautifully with them. And you adjust to them too. Super slicks are definitely the best option for the longer races, but if it's a shorter race, you want to find the ideal balance between grip and durability.

Thanks a lot, gumpy.

To Sandstorm: I'll give you the list when I've confirmed that it's all correct. Also, I'll have to try the Avant Garde when I play again. I thought for sure it was going to be one of those things that burns me out from playing the game for at least a couple hours. If it's not that hard, I can prolly just win the Zonda Race Car and wipe out the MR Challenge with that hopefully.

On another note, I finally got an Audi TT (won from the Amateur L. American Champ, took about 7 tries) and raced the Audi Race and the Tourist Trophy. I hate that car in this game. Slow as hell, the Miata could beat it! Then I started the Pro League Race of Red Emblem with my Nismo GT-R LM Road Car. I finished the first race on that, freaking 10 laps is too much and after driving the TT Quattro for about an hour, going to the GT-R was quite unnerving. Two more 10 lap races to go in that set. I'm burned out from the game right now. I'll be back to it tomorrow for sure tho, lol.

Thanks for the list. Also, with the Race of Red Emblem, I did that yesterday. Watch out for the last race - SS11 II. The AI on that one are very competitive. They'll edge away from you in the first few laps, perhaps by .3 of a second per lap. Once they pit, you will have approximately 22 seconds and 4 laps to play with. Try not to slide around to much, else the AI will catch you - from that 22 second lead, I won by 6 seconds.

NB This is using an untuned Nismo LM R33, with Super-Slick tyres. I didn't pit at all, and my tyres were fairly shoddy by then (yellow bordering red), so I was sliding around a bit.

But then, your driving style/skill level may be completely different to mine, and you could just go out and blitz the field.
