You can??? Funny.. I thought that the problem was. that you couldn´t!!! That has always happened since the beginning of the game!! I never ever needed the clutch to change gears either on the paddle either with the H shifter... and I had two... (one working like the H shifter from G29 and the other one the TH8a shifter from Thrustmaster...

I'm experiencing the same problem! I just want to be able to use my shifter with a custom transmission setup! I don't get it... they added support for the Fanatec CSL wheel but took away the clutch function? What the hell is going on at Polyphony?!

yo i got the same problem too i think.
i have no neutral anymore... i use a thrustmaster th8a shifter.
the clutch still works but when gear lever is positioned in neutral the clutch does not work.

i use original transmissions, never custom transmissions

After the last update a few cars I can no longer use the clutch with ether with stock or racing transmission and I use a T500RS.

I am having the same problem where I can shift without the clutch now. T500 T3pa pro pedals and Th8a shifter. I hope they fix it next update

Same here, dosnt matter if you press clutch or not, you can shift without or with. Feels even more confused
At least im happy that gt-s allows us to use h-shifter all the time independently of car and transmission type.

Same here, T-GT with TH8A, After 1.18, there have clutch do the job, but no N gear anymore, While you press the clutch with the shift stick in 1-7& R gear, The clutch work, but while the shift stick in N position, clutch Will disable immediately then engage to last gear, until the shift stick go to next gear position. The outcome is, when using H shift with normal action procedures, will doing double clutch automatically .

Im using the TH8A shifter too. Ive noticed the clutch only works in the driving school but not in online lobbys

Yep I’ve noticed this since the last update. Before if you miss timed your shift you’d end up in neutral now it makes a sound like slipping the clutch and then goes into gear.

I wish they also fix the Clutch operation that has plagued GT for a long time. The clutch only works when fully pressing in the pedal. A big cause of miss timing shifts. Hopefully they will tweak the bitepoint when they do fix this issue.

I dont really understand you. The clutch only worked with cars that actually have a clutch. So with Gr 3 for example you could always shift with the shifter without using the clutch pedal. This was always the case.

I'm talking about cars that actually have a clutch and stick shift. Before the last patch it worked but now there is no neutral

I’m still facing issues whereby the clutch pedal and TH8A gearshift doesn’t work. Did anyone discover any fix for the problem? And how can we reach out to GT
