Problem with Nissan 240RS

I was playing the game in arcade mode, just trying my brand new Nismo in the Nurburgrin when I saw this old Nissan in white, it looked awsome, really really aggresive car, and I just realized that you cant buy it in GT Mode and you cant win it too, whats the problem with this car????????? you can only win the rally version, but not the normal version, and you cant even buy it, how can you get this car????? its really strange, not even in the used car lot..........

By the way, it sucks that you cant have 2 cars in the Las Vegas Drag strip.....

i dont remember seeing a 240 rally version anywhere, maybe u mean the evo4? since that car is pretty rare :S

Nah I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a 'road' version & a rally version in maskrider's gallery, a cool looking car (Atleast if I'm thinking of the right one, 80's car with big angular wheel arches)

I have done 65% of the game, and everything has been unlocked in Arcade Mode, well thats what it seems, I have all the tracks according to Arcade Mode, and no Las Vegas Drag Strip, I really wanted to race against another car and compare times and power, I remember watching a video from SCEA when the Las Vegas Drag Strip was first revealed and there was a Nismo 400r against a Trial Celica both running, and also we have numerous photdrive shots of Vegas with the Saleen S7 and the Neon SRT4 so thats why this is really strange and also the other thing that is really weird is that the Las Vegas Drag Strip track has two lanes one for you and one for your opponent, and also each lane has two huge Digital timers in each lane that is counting your time, so why the hell if you have everything done for a 2 car battle, why cant another car race it???????????????

Hey dude, I already played the game for a Month, and that freakin nissan hasnt appeared in the old timer used car lot, I check in every day, and by the way, I already have looked on maskriders pics and no Nissan 240 RS appears in the used car lots............

I checked 1twojays car prize list, you only win the rally version, not the standard road going type. - Unless 1twojay mist something out. Has anyone got this car? When i browse through the various GT4 photomode websites, Im going to keep an eye out for this one.

I do like that Nissan 240 RS. 240PS and it weighs less than 1000 Kg. I bought one in the Used Car lot a while ago. It seems to be pretty rare there though. I try to check the lot every week. I think it was before the black Le Mans cars. Taking those into account the rotation must be over 600 days. I have seen an identical low mileage used Golf GTi IV come up twice but other cars seem to come up differently so I am wondering how it cycles. I am on day 987.

That doesn't mean the car has to be won, it can be shown in the dealership with no price but appear in the used car lot.

It is a used car! I knew that calender was good for something. Also when I looked at my car in the garage it had 72,000k on it and I know I didn't drive it that much! I bought it in July of my 2nd year, so I figure that's around day 460 or so. Which would also be day 1160, 1860, 2560, etc... Good luck!

This might be the rarest car in the used lot with the black ones, can't remember ever seeing it again since I bought it.

It does appear from time to time. I've seen it again on a number of occasions. I am just joping for a 10 Km example one day (now over day 1300). It ought to be possible. The 10Km cars seem to occur two out of every three weeks. It is I suspect done randomly on the cars that are available that week. Just recently there was an old model Merc SL 600 with 10 Km on it and that is the first time I have seen that with the low mileage in 1300 odd days (well, at least since I finished the licenses).

According to a FAQ i downloaded, the Nissan Silvia 240RS (S110) ('83) appears on Week 68 - Day 477.

I don't know if that guide makes sense or not. I'm guessing its for the NTSC game, not the PAL one, as i am on days on the game but the guide shows different cars altogether.
It must definitely be a Used car somewhere down the line...
