Problem

Every time I post, I get a "the page cannot be displayed" error. The post exists, but I don't automatically go to the posted thread. Why is that?

Are you on Dial-up?

A situation that develops like that is borne out of your machine. Your browser is timing out, or hanging after it uploads the thread or post.

Have you had this happen on other forums?

that happens on my home computefr once in awhile if I have more than two or three windows up at once...just a quick back button usually is the trick

Well, i had this problem A LOT with internet explorer. The page cannot be displayed, and i end up writing my post all over again .

So, i got myself firefox, and instead of the page cannot be displayed appearing, and my post disappearing, a little pop up box appears saying the operation timed out, and my post, and whatever page below, stays exactly the same. Happy days!

Are you guys attaching large files to your posts or something? They should be nearly instantaneous, regardless of what type of connection you are using.

I never get these messages, and I only use IE.
