Problems with gifting

I created another account to gift cars and tickets to my main account. I was able to send paint and uniforms but it told me I'd already reached the limit on gifting cars. The limits should have reset since then and I was able to send even more paints now but I'm still unable to send cars. How long does an account have to be active in order to gift a car? Is there some other restriction on gifting cars from new accounts?

You're in Florida, right? Same time zone (est.) as me in Michigan. Reset is 8:00pm for us. You can only send 1 car per console, per reset. Is it possible you sent a car from your main account? If so, thats why you can't send until 8:00pm tomorrow.
 
The gifting limit is actually linked to your PS3, not each account.
If one of your accounts gifts a car on your PS3, then that is the daily limit for all accounts on your PS3.
