Hey guys i was just wondering wat you guys think the main problems where with GT3....list them...discuss them....i thought the main problem was the feeling of speed because you can be going 5mph or 500mph and you still think your going super slow!!!!! The game also had a lot of understeer!!! :) :dopey: :indiff: :yuck:   👍 💡 👎 :guilty: :sly: :grumpy: :scared: :dunce: :ouch:

the game does not have understeer if you tune your cars properly.
+ I think you would have understeer driving at 100mph+ in real life.

wrong forum. 👎 :grumpy:

Uhhh... Dude...Wrong Forum... Man...Well.. Seems To Me Like... The Speed Is Just A Small Problem.. Im Prity Sure GT4 will fix that man... and what ForcedInduction: the game does not have understeer if you tune your cars properly.

ok you got one of the problems has anyone found the second problem with gt3.......

ok put your view to outside the car turn wheels in any direction and punch the gas as the camera slides to left or right look closely at the wheels and you'l notice the wheels straight'n allmost to the point where the not even turning. And also almost everracing game i've tested has this same flaw no to me this wrong cause that does not happen in real time so much for the game being a simulator. But the game still rocks if you learn to compensate for this glitch.

Actually, I use that view when I use the DS2.

And its not a problem. If you don't like it. Play R:Racing Evolution and lets see if you like it then.

You can drift a car and go faster through a corner than you could driving normal. Faster the car the easier, slower the car the harder to expoloit the drift.

Speed isnt that bad, guess its just each person's perspective to driving in real life or having never driven in real life at all.

Going off course doesnt effect you all that much.

The game didnt have tons of understeer, you must be driving the cars way too fast then they can be driven through a corner. Going in too fast will mean the car will be going to fast at the apex and you wont properly get off the corner without going in the grass, thats where you must be getting understeer. Drive the Panoz Esperante GT1, thats understeer.

I played GT4P in Chicago "it was the Japan GT4P" much much much better than GT3 in all categorys. So I bet GT4 will be even more realistic after 1 year since they did the GT4P for japan.

ok, floorit the thing about the wheels was done on purpose. they did this because at high speeds if you turned the wheels all the way the car would turn so fast that you would lose control and spin out, so the game would be REALLY hard, since the joysticks and the d-pad dont move very much you would have to move them so little and be so precise and it would just get really annoying.

i also posted this on glitches, i just also added it here

speaking of glitches, there is this glitch on gran turismo 3 where you can spin ur car around on a track. actually my friend did it by accident, the car didnt do doughnuts but literally spun, like how a tank spins in place. he just kept holding X and O and kept playing wth it. the car we were using was a toyota sprinter trueno gt apex.

Never really experienced any glitches except opposing cars going crazy on the track, but that's been discussed already.

that makes perfect sence at high speed but what about low speed, i tested several cars from a dead stop and punching it to maybe 30 mph and the wheels literally straightn out. Surely thier programers are smart enough to seperate the two either that or a least make the wheels turn a little more than they do now that would make turn that much more precise. Thanks for the reply

actually, i dont think that is a glitch, it's probably programed into gt3. i get that all the time and it's fun. it's one of GT3's ways of getting you right back on the road when you go head on into a wall. the game will push you out of the corner and back onto the road. Try it on seattle circuit right where you take a left up the hill...run right into the wall, turn your wheels, slowly gas and you'll spin!

If I understood what you were saying, I might feel better prepared to comment...

Flip up lights don't flip up either.. they become Transparent and let the light through :P
What do you mean? On my Lotus Esprit 350 the flip up lights work, meaning that on tracks where the car's lights are on, they are "flipped up."

the lights are on yes..

but take the MR2 or RX7 on one of the night tracks..

unless i'm totally blind.. when the replay shows the car from the front.. it looks as if the lights are being projected "through" the top of the headlight covers...

I believe there should be side view, like in Toca race car driver, I think that was a great driving aid, esp. when running in highly competitive races

Yep just like in PGR2. R3 can be the button.
