Problems with Steam overlay

Just making this thread to see if anyone else is having trouble with the Steam overlay. I can open the overlay just fine, but when open, closing it via the usual shift + tab doesn't work. I have to manually click the "Click here to return to the game" or something like that button at the top of the screen. Additionally, whenever the overlay explorer is open, the game will crash if left open for a few minutes.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I get the same problem. Not a huge deal but definitely annoying.

@Coxis have you tried if pressing Esc closes it?

Glad to see it's not just me -- hopefully it'll be fixed in the future.

@JvM Thanks for the suggestion, I haven't tried it but it doesn't matter . If the game crashes with the overlay on then there's no point in opening it in the first place.

Yups have the same problem. I raised it on the steam forums and have had no devices response yet.
