I'm having a quite a bit of problems with my wireless mouse. The left click often does not work unless I lightly tap it and it works a while longer then fails again. Yes, I've changed the batteries several times and reconnected the connection between the receiver. But I also have problems with the keyboard, but not as often. Maybe it's the reciever that's broken. Please help.

If I use my left hand with my mouse no matter what distance it suddenly becomes retarded. figures... I think I block the connection some how that way. :dopey:

My sis' told me she was using my comp today, and said the mouse is extremely unresponsive for a few seconds. You could move the mouse fast, but the icon would move very slow.

She also said sometimes, the keyboard would be very unresponsive. She said she'd type a word, but one of the letters would not show up.

It only started happening recently she said.

Note that I have both a Wireless Logitech Mouse and Keyboard at home.

Do you have any kind of wireless network connection? I had the same problem - changed batteries, signals, reinstall, but it was solved only when i moved it further away from my laptop. I don't know where the wireless connection is in my laptop - it's built in, so i had to move it pretty far away.

I'm not sure if Logitec has anything like this, but it might give you a heads up for interference. This is from my Microsoft mouse.

Well, my keyboard is pissing me off.

After a while, the buttons become extremely unresponsive unless I slam the **** out of the keyboard, then it works for 5 minutes, then stops.

The mouse responses the same way. Works, then slowly responds unless I hit it.

My d*mn mouse is the reason I'm not getting any good scores in BF2.

Try swapping the batteries - even if it says they're full. If that doesn't work, it could be electronic interference coming from something - possibly speakers, a phone in the room, or even EMI interference coming directly from your computer's case. You might also want to try moving the reciever away from the mouse. Too close might be preventing the frequency from reaching the mouse properly.

Eric - you'e got a microsoft mouse. Have you hit the button on the base station and then the button on the bottom of the mouse. That usually does the trick for me.

I had a clicking problem on one of my old microsoft mice once - just tapping it registered as 7 or 8 clicks. It just turned out that it had reached the end of it's lifespan.

If you have a wireless phone close by, try moving that – I only got my Bluetooth mouse to work reliably after we moved the phone into a different room.

Well, I moved the connection device that receives the signals back to the window, and the Keyboard has stopped. :D

The mouse will rarely screw up now.
Just a case of moving the devices to close. :)

Well it STILL messes up and I don't care too much anymore. I just smack it on my knee and I get quite a few responsive clicks before it does it again. My keyboard is starting to to it too. Just a little smack down and it works again.

Once I died on BF2 because the trigger would not go when I was right behind him and he turned around and blasted me. I threw it accross my room into my closet wall. One of the clickers fell out(just the cover) and I snapped it back on and worked awhile then had to smack it again. Ghetto...
