Hi all,

So who plays with professional physics on?

I only managed a few arcade races lastnight, will properly try the game out tonight, but I wondered what the actual differences are with it 'on' and 'off'?

I play Gran Turismo with all assists oof, so am I the kind of person that would benefit from playing with professional physics?

Pro physics should be ok for you with assists on as it gives a little bit of sideways action before the assists cut in when I tried it on a ZO6 unknowingly thinkin there were no assists

The difference is more so that the car seems to grip the road a lot better and you can carry a lot more corner speed.

Also with regards to assists, ASM is one assist that astounds me why it is even included. I had forgotten to turn it off when i first started gt4 and again when i took gt5p to a mates house to show them and I had real troubles winning races with ASM on and professional physics.

I find the Ford GT impossible to drive on HSR on professional physics with all assists off. I need ASM for that car, but I'm fine with all the other cars

Cool.

Well I want realism, so I guess I will try some time attacks tonight with it on and off and see how I perform. I may just have to be persistant until I become good with it on. I use the the G25 with Playseat also, so I am really going for the simulator affect :)
