Thanks it's nice to know when a set up works good.
Just set my RS like your RZ and came up with the below.

for bumpy tracks like the ring, new york and deep forest I use this.

suspersion:
front rear
Ride height 112 112
damper 3 3
camber 2.5 1.0

ASM(both) 0
TCS 5

For tracks like high speed ring I use this

suspersion:
front rear
Ride height 112 112
damper 6 6
camber 2.5 1.0

ASM(both) 0
TCS 5

With the first setting I won the new york race by 5 seconds.
 
If you are a turbo fan, then i suggest trying out the Australian Ford F6 Typhoon.. they are a turbocharged 4L straight 6 sedan.

Even with slight modifications it is an elite race car, in fact after seeing a fair few in my home city i noticed that even stock they are fitted with : rock hard sports suspension, 2way LSD, front mount intercooler, super light wheels, and a 2 1/5" sports exhaust.

Oh and if you're a drift fan.. then yea.. you can see the potential the car has.

I have been away from the game for quite a while, I should have known to just stiffen the ride up a bit... gah!

i dont use drivign aides at all tho.
 
I don't drive with aids on my stock race cars and my street cars with 300hp or less and even then if I do it's set at 5 TCS or less that's it, I don't use ASM unless I'm desprite.
 
Please try to avoid double- or triple-posting, ving, the Edit button is there for a good reason. Two of your posts are within ten minutes of each other, which is inexcusable for an experienced member like yourself.

yes, edit would have been better.

I am not really an experienced member DE. much of the rules that now apply either did not exist or were not so heavily enforce when i posted here more... about a year ago. I feel once more like a newbie to the rules here and somewhat out of place.
 
It seems slightly inappropriate to add to this thread, seeing as how ving has eventually found a solution to his original problem.

However, having enjoyed the company of gtplanet since mid 2004 there are worrying signs that it now seems to embellish a glean of fastidiousness usually attributed to governmental quality management systems, as opposed to a forum for GT4 enthusiasts.

It is a pain to see the written word abominated with vague symbolism and worse still, irreverent use of grammar. However, surely our moderators are capable, as has been the case here, to raise the issue authoritatively and arrive at a satisfactory conclusion.

Baiting for retaliatory replies is not conducive to a happy day at all. Ving’s reply, whilst conciliatory doesn’t negate the fact that the use of the word ‘inexcusable’ in Dark Elite’s post is somewhat over-the-top.

Perhaps, as we twiddle our collective thumbs awaiting GT5s eventual release, our annoyance factor is more prone to showing signs of fragility.

My last post on the forum was around the time I got GT4 unwrapped, so a while ago. Seems a shame that after all the virtual miles covered since, this post falls under the off-topic banner.
 
I shall not back down from my words in Post #35, as I feel that the word 'inexcusable' does apply to posting twice consecutively in the same thread (your own, no less) within ten minutes, for no apparent reason - particularly when done by a member who has over five thousand posts to his name here. The rules concerning double-posting were certainly enforced when I joined these forums in 2005, so recent inactivity doesn't make a good defence.

My above posts are not 'baiting for retaliatory replies' in any way - I do not want to see a flame war erupt in this section yet again, although telltale signs are coming out already - I was merely pointing out that letting standards on these forums slip is not what we want to see, and attempting to stop this from happening.

Exclusion is certainly not the feeling I wish to evoke - moreover, a will to make yourself a good member of the community and to follow the rules that we agree to. I hope that you can see my point, and not take my posts as personal insult.

I can understand this forums policy on double/multi posting as from past experience alot of it was in the form of spam and idealy spam is what we shoud be avoiding.
While I have appoligised for my double posting one should take note that my posting was not spam, nor was it an attempt to raise my post count as some might do... did i get a private warning? no, I recieved a public slap in the face. I am not exactly renown for spam or double post so why such a public beating over it?
These telltale signs of which you speak are surely a message that the "rule with an iron fist" method of moderation that seems to have magically sprung up on these boards does not make the users happy. it is not conducive of a friendly atmosphere and does not make the forum a fun anf informative place to be, which is what it should be.
I personally think the owners of the forum (admin) should rethink thier strategy and perhaps reword it a little to allow a little more freedom perhaps.

posting on this forum shoud be encouraged, not discouraged
 
I just can't get the point of Dark Elites posts on posting more than once in a line yes the first two should have been one but it's not that bad is it. If spamming is so bad the ones responsible should be delt with. My view on spelling and grammar is the same as Dark Elites, Daans and anyother of the big borther figers here and I'm one of the english speakers that sometimes has trouble with spelling and grammar. This matter should have been delt with in the from of a PM not posted for everone to see all that has happened is that Dark Elite and Ving have started a fight with words that looks like two year olds banning their heads on a wall. Funny at first but it looks silly at the end.

I don't see an "iron fist." It was suggested to you that you use proper english and grammar, which you seem to have taken on board. (Although you so seem to insist on using "tho" instead of "though" though.)

The discussion in this thread will now go back to the subject thats mentioned in the title.

I was under the impression that DE was a moderator, and that all the moderators were out to get me or something. :scared:

anyhow as previously mentioned, the setting i have been given worked a treat. thanks to all who contributed. 👍

what is this, school? an annual grammar test?

i'll agree his first post was a bit excessive but now i can clearly understand what he's saying.

does that rule only apply to excessiveness like said post? do we need to pass a grammar/spelling test before being allowed to participate in these forums?

exactly, as long as I can understand it, I dont care. It's just a rule to keep the: "WTF dit you mean man?!:ouch:" posts away. pretty logic.

Grammar just indicates your intelligence;)

and I know I am not a grammar king, eather.
