Porsche 911 GT3 R confirmed.

The new Rallycross article indicates there are 8 licensed rallycross cars. So far there are 6 that have been confirmed:

2017 Renault Megane SMS-RX
2017 Mercedes-Benz A45 SMS-RX
2016 Ford Focus RS RX
2016 Honda Civic Coupe RX
2015 Mini Countryman RX
2013 Volkswagen Polo RX

@IanBell Any idea when the others will be revealed?

You forgot the Ford Escort RX and the RX Lites.
 
I'm waiting for the announcements of the GT4 Cayman GT4, 962c, 928 GTS4 race car and Moby Dick 935. :sly:

I wonder how accurate the in-game livery will be. Will we see a Gran Turismo sun screen in Project CARS 2? :D

EDIT: I also suspect that all of the "currently active" race cars will be based on 2016 spec. Afterall, that's when most of them were most likely created within the game.

I remember seeing a car in Assetto Corsa with a Gran Turismo banner in the window. With the way AC was/still is it was actually pretty good advice...

It must be a mod. We even have VGTs on AC if we think that way :lol:, we used to have Autumn Ring too :lol:

No. I 'm a PS4 player, it's just that they're as lazy with licensing as they are at releasing a functioning game.
