Is already confirmedHDR support, please.
Is not yet confirmedSo basically VR on the souped up consoles
Yep. Probably will be gimped with less visual quality and a lower performance.I can only hope the PS4.0 and standard XB1 versions aren't horrifically gimped performance wise.
PS4 std market share is way bigger. PS4 pro version will look off course better but the standard version will be Just fine and optimized for PS4 standard performances.Yep. Probably will be gimped with less visual quality and a lower performance.
60fps replays, please.
To clear any doubts, we will push all platforms to the max that the console-makers will allow us and to maintain 60fps while driving. We will not leave any computing power idle, except when you are in the menus we slow down the graphics intentionally to 30fps to preserve your machine's life. Don't really need 60 fps menus. I remember some players asking "why are my ps4 fans running so high?" when they first tried pCars1 because the game hit the systems so hard. We want everyone to have a great graphical experience.
Do you have examples of what games that had this setup that you didn't like? Just so people have something to compare it toCan you please elaborate on the bolded? I'd have thought 60fps menus wouldn't have stressed the hardware much at all, and personally I do not like 30fps menus. They look and feel sluggish in a 60fps game and can be quite jarring.
Well in Horizon they have the opposite setup with 30fps gameplay and 60fps menus. Looks good for the map screen. TBH can't see how scrolling through sliders would look bad at 30 in pCARS2's menus.Do you have examples of what games that had this setup that you didn't like? Regretfully, I suspect all the new games (PC2 and GTS) will be slotted for the PS Pro. PS4 gamers will be left holding the messy end of the stick. Assetto Corsa players may have to wait for PS5 to see Corsa 2.0 on console. Where it will release along side GT7 in mid 2019. PC users will have the full Monty and no real worries pertaining to PC2 and AC2.
As usual.
Same goes for Gravity Rush 2 (but not The Last Guardian ... Which isn't smooth on either the 2 consoles).Horizon is fully optimized for the Pro, yet it also looks spectacular on PS4 vanilla at 1080p. I doubt games here on out will look worse on vanilla machines just because the Pro is available.
GT7 mid 2019? Let's first see if GTS can make it before mid 2019.Regretfully, I suspect all the new games (PC2 and GTS) will be slotted for the PS Pro.
