New cars are great, I have something to say about the TS040, but looks great is a little disappointing in speed, I tried various configurations and did not notice anything better it is unstable and slow, Aston Martin is better. Too bad waaaaa.

Shame they didn't make one of the Rocket Bunny's a GT5 car..the Ginetta could use some competition. Though in stock form the 86 may be competitive with something like the Ginetta already.

Do you have any lap times for comparison? What sort of top speed have you gotten? How does it compare to the R18 e-tron quattro?

However, we don't know what is the state of these cars. Their sounds and their physics might not be finished just yet.
They dont update anything, the dlc is literally only an unlock key. this is the finished product.

I hope so because as you say toyota ts040 is so unplayable. those who play in professional or expert as most do so, I mean unaided steering, brakes, etc. if as you say well why this PC release it before to give some statistical creators and help improve the physics of the cars.

thanks for the youtube video alex! real informative, now lets hope we get nissan, chevy, lambo, ferrarri

Looking forward to getting another GT4 car, but the name Rocket Bunny is ridiculous. Sounds like it was designed by some hipsters and should always be preceded by a #. They couldn't call it a Rocket Rabbit because people would find it hard to drive a car that's name resembled a sex toy.

Actually a japanese brand thats fairly popular with the ZN6 platform, mostly used for drifting and kids who only like parking their cars. Also really weird that they made that a gt4 when toyota has a racing variant of the 86.

Dude, come on. Every time the DLC is in the patch files and if you buy the DLC its just a 1.1 mb unlocking file. Its always been like that.

PS: That TS040 sounds much too quiet compared to real life. Its like the trumpets of jericho are blowing by at 300 kph in person.

Yeah I find the sounds a tad disappointing on many cars. Some sound unique but on a lot of them it seems they re-used samples from other cars and just mixed it a bit.

And as @TheKitten says, the transmission whine is too prominent on a lot of the road cars too.

The Aston V8 GTE did get pretty much nailed spot on in the final release. And honestly the V12 in the LMP1 and the GT3 are so dang similar that they do have a similar sound.

Now, the Toyota is most likely still unfinished, so I won't judge the car (based on that video) just yet.

Toyota TS040 is the fastest Lmp1 car in the game, I guess. it is really easy to drive.

what do you say? the ts040 is not fast either maneuverable. It is a total disaster in terms of driving. when you try it you'll realize. forum of the official website there are comenyarios about it, should change settings on the car before launching it for consoles. in my opinion it is more parese a LMP2, is a shame.

The videos I have watched so far seem fine in that nobody is having any issues. What are the problems with it in handling terms?

I would love to see a TS040-HYBRID lap of Spa or Le Mans at night... hint hint

I just looked on the PCARS forum and didn't find any comments on the car. For those of us who don't have access to it yet it would be easier to understand if you had lap time comparisons or videos to compare.

With that being said, I'm worried about the two complaints so far seeing as how this is a car I have been excitedly waiting for.

The internal combustion engine, if modeled in game as in real life, would potentially be the least powerful of all the LMP1 cars in game. The TS040 has a very powerful hybrid system with the same vehicle weight as the Audi e-tron and more efficient aero than the pre-2014 prototypes.

I can understand if you consider the power to be low, but aero and chassis wise it should be about the same if not better.

i am not sure if it is the fastest but i can say that it is faster than Aston Martin DBR1-2 and Audi R18 e-tron (without any setup of course) its maneuverability is better than any lmp car i know.
